Next day~
The next morning, the sun gently filters through the curtains, casting a soft light into the room. Leah wakes up slowly, the memories of the previous night still fresh in her mind. She stretches languidly, feeling a pleasant soreness in her body.
Looking over at Toto, she finds him already awake and watching her, a sleepy but satisfied smile on his face."Morning," he mumbles, his voice still rough with sleep. He reaches over and brushes a strand of hair away from her face, his touch gentle and affectionate.
Leah smiles back, still feeling the effects of their passionate encounter. She slides closer to him, snuggling into his side, and buries her head in his chest. "Morning," she replies, her voice just as sleepy.
Toto wraps his arm around her, pulling her closer, and places a soft kiss on the top of her head. "Sleep well?" he asks, his voice tinged with contentment.
"Mmhmm," she hums in response, her body relaxing against his. "Very well."
Her fingers trail absentmindedly over his bare chest, tracing random patterns onto his skin.
"I'm really sore "
Toto lets out a low chuckle, his smile growing wider. "Is that so?"
He brings his hand up to her hip, gently massaging the area where he knows she must be sore. "I might have gone a little too hard last night, huh?"
Leah and Toto make their way into the kitchen, the atmosphere between them still tinged with the intimate connection of the night before.
As they enter the kitchen, the sunlight streams in through the windows, illuminating the room with a soft, warm glow. Leah heads to the espresso machine and starts brewing some coffee, yawning gently as she goes.
Toto walks up behind her, unable to resist the urge to be close to her. He wraps his arms around her waist and nuzzles his face into her hair. "Mmm, you smell good," he murmurs, his voice still groggy with sleep.
Toto continued to hold Leah close, his arms wrapped around her waist as he leaned his chin on her shoulder. He inhaled her scent, his heart filling with warmth and affection. This woman was his everything, and he couldn't help but get lost in her presence.
"You know," he said softly, turning her around in his arms so that they were face to face. "I'm not sure I got enough of you last night. I think I need some more morning affection."
Leah chuckled softly at his words, the sleepy haze of morning still lingering around them. She wrapped her arms around his neck, tangling her fingers in his hair as she met his gaze.
"You're insatiable," she murmured, a teasing smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Can't keep your hands off me, can you?"
Toto's lips curved into a mischievous smile as he pulled her even closer, his hands sliding down her back to rest on her hips. He leaned in, his breath hot against her skin as he murmured, "Can you blame me? You're just too damn irresistible."
Leah heart skipped a beat, the combination of his touch and his words sending a shiver down her spine. She couldn't help but let out a soft moan, her body responding to him in ways that it had countless times before.
As their bodies pressed together, Amelie felt his arousal growing against her, stirring an anticipation within her that she knew only he could quench. With a sly smile, she whispered in his ear, her voice thick with desire, "Insatiable, huh? Well, let's see just how much you can handle, my insatiable man."
Toto's eyes darkened with hunger, as he gripped her hips, his breath growing deeper. "Oh, you have no idea, darling. I could go all day and all night, and still want more."
Their intimate moment was suddenly interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching the kitchen. They quickly composed themselves, stepping away from each other just as their son, Jack, appeared in the kitchen, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
"Morning, buddy," Toto said, his voice cheerful as he ruffled the boy's hair affectionately. Leah smiled warmly at their son, her heart swelling with love.
Jack looked up at them with sleepy eyes, his little face still puffy with sleep. "Morning," he mumbled, yawning widely.
Despite Jack's tiredness, Toto couldn't help but notice the hint of annoyance in his son's expression. He knew his son well enough to recognize the signs of a grumpy mood.
Toto knelt down, bringing himself eye level with his son, and ruffled his hair once more. "What's got you looking so grumpy this morning, buddy?" he asked.
Jack's bottom lip quivered slightly, a surefire sign that he was about to unleash a full-blown tantrum. Leah watched them closely, bracing herself for the impending storm.
"Daddy, you were gone last night," he muttered, his voice laced with a mix of anger and hurt.
Toto's heart tightened at his son's words, his guilt resurfacing. He had indeed been at the office all night, and he hadn't been present for Jack's bedtime routine. He tried to explain, his voice soft.
"I know, buddy. I'm sorry. Daddy had some important work to do and couldn't be there for your bedtime last night."
Jack's face scrunched up in frustration at his father's words. His small fist clenched tightly at his side and his lower lip began to tremble. "But you always miss my bedtime!"
His little voice was cracking with emotion as tears welled up in his eyes. "I want you to be there! You never spend time with me!"As the tears started to fall, Jack's anger and frustration boiled over, and he let out a shrill cry. "It's not fair! You always work! You never play with me!"
Toto's heart ached at his son's cries, his guilt growing with each word that left Jack's mouth. He knew he hadn't been present enough for his son, and he felt the weight of his absence heavily.
"Buddy," he tried to console, his voice soft. "I know I haven't been around as much as I should have been, but you have to understand that I am doing this for our family. I am working to provide for us, to give you and your mom a better life."
But Jack was having none of it. The young boy was in full tantrum mode now, his little legs stomping angrily on the ground as he wailed. "I don't care! I don't want things! I want you!"
Toto's heart clenched at his son's words. He knew he had been missing out on precious moments with his son, and it hurt to hear him voice his feelings in such a raw and heartbreaking way.
He tried to explain once more, his voice thick with emotion. "Jack... I love you so much, you have to believe me. I'm trying my best to provide for you, to give you a good life. But I know I can never make up for the time I've missed."
After hours of trying to soothe their son, Leah and Toto were both exhausted and drained. Dealing with a tantrum-throwing child had taken its toll on them, and they were both feeling the weight of the day's events.
Exhausted, Toto collapsed onto the couch, his face etched with fatigue. He rubbed his temples, sighing heavily as the events of the morning replayed in his mind.
Leah flopped down beside him, her body weary from the effort of attempting to calm their son's tantrum. Her eyes were red-rimmed from her own suppressed emotions, and she leaned heavily against him, seeking comfort in his presence.
"How did we end up here?" Toto's voice was heavy with weariness. "I feel like I'm always disappointing someone, and I end up feeling like a shitty father. And a shitty husband."
Leah sighed softly, her hand finding his in the space between them. "You're not a shitty husband or a shitty father. You're a hard-working man trying to do what's best for our family, and unfortunately, that means sacrificing time with us sometimes."
Toto shook his head, frustration evident in the lines of his face. "I know, but it doesn't make the guilt any easier to bear. I hate the way Jack looked at me today, all hurt and angry. I feel like I'm failing both of you."
Leah leaned her head against his shoulder, feeling his tension and anguish. "You're not failing us, Toto. You're just struggling with the pressures of being a provider and a father. But you need to remember, you're not alone in this. We're in this together."
