Chapter 40- The Grand Revelation

I had reached the fifth month of my pregnancy.Mypregnancy had reached a point where it was no longer a secret to be kept among close friends and family. You know that i had been keeping my pregnancy under wraps within the racing world, unsure of how our friends drivers and family would react. But now, it was time to share our secret with the people who had become my second family.Yes,I am not a driver and I am being together with the CEO of Mercedes .But the drivers and mechanics are just so kind to me!They treat everyone equally.

Toto had been confidant throughout this journey, and he knew that the time had come to reveal the news to ourfriends on the circuit. You know Toto has apartment and house ,but we prefer living in the apartment for now .We'll need more space when the little one is here.in fact his apartment is huge but we'll see. We decided to host a casual gathering at our house.We have a large garden where we can gather all our loved ones,which is amazing. Toto wanted to grill, but I didn't! And he still bought a brand new barbecue because..because he's just Toto Wolff and sometimes even I don't understand him.

Toto was at work and had already invited everyone and I was looking forward to them
It was a sunny afternoon and me and Toro were both smiling as we welcomed our fellow drivers, team members, close friends and family.

The atmosphere was relaxed, with the scent of barbecue wafting through the air.
My parents were a bit late but as they arrived, their faces lit up with smiles, but there was a hint of curiosity in their eyes.

The whole evening was great! We drank, we ate, we had fun as everyone told a funny story from the Formula 1 track. It was great to hear stories from Toto's youth. But it made me emotional! I know it's hard to be pregnant. But really I just imagined our son may one day follow in his father's steps. So yes, I was crying right now and Toto had hugged me while stroking my hair gently

"Leah don't cry!You have to be happy right now"

"I know but this pregnancy make me so emotional" After 5 minutes I was finally okay so we went back.And here is the special moment..

Toto raised his glass for a toast. The chatter slowly died down, and all eyes turned toward him.

"Thank you all for being here tonight," Toto began, his voice steady and filled with affection. "We have something special to share with you, something that has brought immense happiness to our lives."

I took a deep breath trying not to cry,my hand instinctively resting on my growing bump, which was now subtly noticeable beneath my loose fitting dress. Toto continued

"Leah and I have a secret we've been keeping for a while, and we thought it was about time to share it with our Formula One family."

He paused, and i could feel her heart pounding in my chest. Toto's arm encircled my waist, offering support. "Leah," he said, turning to me, "why don't you do the honors?"

I nodded, my eyes glistening with emotion. I took a step forward and smiled at the expectant faces before me

"We are expecting a baby...I'm four months pregnant," i announced, my voice filled with a mix of vulnerability and pride.

A hushed silence fell over the group as the revelation sank in.Everyone was in shock. Then, one by one, smiles broke out, followed by applause and cheers. The racing world, often characterized by fierce competition, came together in a moment of unity and celebration.

"Oh, sweetheart, that's wonderful news!" My mom exclaimed, her voice filled with heartfelt joy. "You're going to be parents!"She immediately hugged me and started crying ,my father, though initially taken aback, soon joined in the celebration. He pulled me into a warm hug, his eyes glistening with pride. "We're going to be grandparents," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion.

Yes,I'm crying again.But I am so happy right now.Everyone I love is here ,they support us and our little one

Isa,Alessia and Lewis came to hug me.
"You're going to be a mother! You can always name him Lewis if you want."Lewis winked at me and I laughed, but Toto was not happy with our conversation

After a few hours, everyone had already left and I was tired even just sitting! The baby is really heavy. Toto and I went to my room and I felt calmer than ever. Toto kissed me and that was the end of our evening.
