Chapter 39: Meet The Pervy Sage

Makoto let out a long sigh. First thing in the morning, she head out to the teahouse and try to enjoy her freedom. Most of her friends were busy, and most of her friends just didn't want to hang out. Because of the upcoming 3rd part of the Chunin Exam, everybody was doing their own thing. She really missed Sasuke.

"Do you miss Sasuke?" Amaterasu said in telepathy.

"Of course," Makoto said back in telepathy.

"You have been more open with how you feel. I'm glad," Amaterasu said in telepathy.

Makoto's cheeks heat a little, a little embarrass. "O-Of course. I mean, I must be truthful to myself," she said, although she meant to say it to Amaterasu in telepathy.

A few people nearby and passing by look at Makoto like she's weird.

A bead of sweat appears on Makoto's head. "I said that out loud, didn't I?" she said in telepathy. She swears she can hear Amaterasu laughing her. 'I wonder what Sasuke is doing. Probably learning Chidori from dad. Dad...' her thought wander off.

"Makoto?" Amaterasu said in telepathy.

"It's nothing," Makoto said in telepathy before taking a sip of her tea.

Naruto wants to train and get ready for the 3rd part of the Chunin Exam so he asked Kakashi if he can be his tutor.

While strolling on the street, Naruto spot Kakashi, and greet him, "Hey, Kakashi-sensei!" He runs up to Kakashi.

"Oh, hi, Naruto," Kakashi greeted back.

"Sensei, I was wondering if you're not busy, can you tutor me?" Naruto said hopefully.

"Sorry, Naruto. But I'm already tutoring Sasuke."

"What?" Naruto whined.

"Maybe Ebisu can help you with that," Kakashi suggested.

Naruto groan. "Him? No way!"

"Oh, and, Naruto, I want you to keep an eye on Makoto while I'm gone."

"Be your eye? Okay!" Naruto agree without a thought.

Kakashi place a hand on Naruto's shoulder, and say, "Thanks, Naruto. I knew I can count on you,"

Naruto rub the back of his head with a grin.

With Kakashi out of the picture, Naruto reluctantly agree to train under Ebisu. The first training is walking on water. But due to an unfortunately incident, an old man, later reveal as Jiraiya, knocked him out, leaving Naruto without a tutor. And because of that, Naruto try to convince Jiraiya to tutor him. He successfully convinced Jiraiya by using his Sexy Jutsu.

And so, Naruto's new training begins with walking on water. Makoto was nearby, and decided to go for a little swim. She practices the Rasengan a bit here and there, creating a little tornado in the water.

'Huh... I wonder...' Makoto thought.

Makoto went back to dry land, quickly dry herself and made a Rasengan, then with the hand that has the wind ball of chakra, she pull back that hand, and throw the Rasengan across the water, splitting the middle of the water in half. Once the water returns back to normal, on the floor, she was trembling.

"Makoto?" Amaterasu said in telepathy.

Makoto was trembling with excitement. "Heck yeah!" she exclaimed.
