Chapter 33

Chapter 33: Reunion

After Makoto and the Sand siblings say their farewell, they went their separate way.

Makoto close her eyes and try to sense her friends' chakra. "12..." She opens her eyes. "Must be Ino and the others." She smiles in relief.

Makoto proceed where she sense her friends' chakra. She strolls around in the forest, trying to find out where her friends are. She stops on her track. "I hope they're okay," she said worriedly.

"They're your friends. They'll be fine," Amaterasu said telepathically.

Makoto smile, satisfy with Amaterasu's words, and nod in agreement. "Yeah. You're right."

After a little bit of more walking, Makoto can feel her chakra rejuvenating. She smiles. "Finally..." She performs the Transportation Jutsu and teleport to a nearby location where Naruto and the others are.

Once Makoto arrive at a nearby location, she happens to find herself standing in the air. "Wha-"

Makoto look down to see a river. Then, she fell. With quick thinking, she performs a jutsu that allow her to walk in the air. She arches forward as she places her hands on her knees, and let out a sigh of relief. In the back of her mind, she swears she can hear someone laughing. Amaterasu.

An animevein appear on Makoto's head. "It's not funny!" she shouted angrily in the air. Then she finally notices someone was staring at her.

It is Team Guy, Rock Lee, Tenten, and Neji.

Makoto stand up straight. "Hey. So, how's it going?"

Team Guy look at each other then back at Makoto. After Makoto get back to dry land, she asks them where Naruto and others are. They took her to where the rest of the Leah rookies are. The Genins were surprise to see Makoto, well, because of her tattered clothes.

Naruto was the first to run up to Makoto. "Mako, you're alive!" Then he glomp her.

Surprisingly, they fall down, making it seems like Naruto has just tackle Makoto to the ground.

Ino was not happy about what happen. "What are you doing, you idiot?!"
