Chapter 37: First Kiss From The Past

It was one sunny morning. At the forest, birds sing lively from the trees, calm wind flowing in the air. Just the right weather for training. Makoto went out to look for Sasuke after his mom told her where he went. Sasuke was in the forest, drench in sweat, and exhausted.

Makoto run up to the worn-out Sasuke, worry. "Sasuke, what happen to you?!"

Sasuke wipe the sweat from his cheek with a gleeful laugh. "Oh, I'm fine. Just been training."

Makoto calm down with a curious expression on her face. "Training? All by yourself?"

Sasuke nod in reply.

"Can I join you?" Makoto with a smile.

"Sure," Sasuke said.

So, Makoto help Sasuke with target practice. She also teaches him how to throw multiple kunais at multiple targets.

When Sasuke accomplish this, he throws his hands up in the air with a satisfying smile. "I did it!"

"Congrates, Sasuke," Makoto said with a smile.

Sasuke give Makoto an abrupt hug. "Thanks, Makoto!"

"Ah!" Makoto lost her balance, and fall backward to the ground, pulling Sasuke along.

Sasuke became nervous. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to..."

Makoto warp her arms around Sasuke's neck with a giggle. "You're so adorable, Sasuke."

Sasuke felt his cheeks heat up. 'Oh no, she's so close! What am I doing? What should I do?' he thought.

"Huh?" Makoto notice the blush on Sasuke's cheeks. "Your face is red. Are you feeling alright?"

Makoto place a hand on Sasuke's forehead which cause him to grow even redder.

"I-I'm fine!" Sasuke quickly try to get up, but he lost his balance and fall on Makoto again, locking his lips with her lips.

Makoto's eyes widen in shock, and so does Sasuke's. Makoto was the first to react; she pushes Sasuke off and ran off.

Sasuke quickly stand up. "Makoto! Makoto, wait!" he called desperately.

Once Makoto got home, she head to her room. Makoto's mom, Mika was in the kitchen, finished with preparing dinner.

"Makoto...?" Mika walk out of the kitchen and head to Makoto's room. "Sweetie...?"

In Makoto's room, Makoto was walking back and forth anxiously, worry, stress, confuse.

Mika was worry. "Sweetie, is everything alright?"

Makoto stop on her track and look at Mika with a panicking expression.

"Mommy..." Makoto run up to Mika and hug her.

Mika hug back. "What's wrong?"

"Sasuke kiss me!" Makoto said anxiously.

Mika was surprise that her little girl has just got her first kiss. "Is that why you're anxious?"

"I don't know what to do!" Makoto couldn't take in what just happen between her and Sasuke. It'd never happen before, and it's new to her.
