"Well, this is a rare occurrence," Sigrun mused. "Not very often we can gather together outside of combat."

"I agree," Vahan said. "We only seem to get together to plan battle strategies."

"I don't mind taking a break every now and then," Denzel said cheekily.

"You do it too often," Brendan said. "But these baths are certainly relaxing."

"..." Kion said. He was turned away from his siblings.

"I-I was thinking," Astraea said, glancing towards Sigrun, and by extension the wall tha separated the two baths. "I want to do more...together with all of you. Just hang out like siblings, you know? We haven't really done it, so..." she let her voice trail off.

"Astraea, we're currently fighting a war," Brendan pointed out. "There's hardly time for leisure for us."

"Tell that to the soldiers who gamble," Vahan said. "And participate in plays."

"Then let's have dinner together nightly," Astraea said. "Let's commit to that, at least."

"..." Kion said.

"We have breakfast every day together," Sigrun said.

"We could commit to having all our meals together," Denzel said. "Just so long as I don't get any lectures about my posture—"

"But you do slouch when you sit," Vahan said.

"It's called relaxing, Vahan," Denzel said. "You should try it!"

"I know how to relax," Vahan said defensively.

"You need to relax too, Brendan," Denzel said, turning to his other brother.

"I relax plenty," Brendan said.

"You too, Kion—"

"I'm finished!" Kion announced, bursting from the tub and storming away with his towel.

The siblings sat in silence for a long moment. "He really should relax," Sigrun said.

"Yeah," Astraea said. "I would like to show him, but..."

"I could give him some advice," Vahan said.

"You gonna lend him one of those ladies you've been seen around the Old Capital with?" Denzel teased.

"DENZEL!" Vahan snapped.

"Leave Kion to me," Brendan interjected. "You two as younger siblings shouldn't fuss over your older brother. But he's my younger brother, so I will take care of it."

"He's my younger brother, too," Sigrun called out.

A brief silence followed. Astraea broke it. "Vahan?"

"Yes?"

"I didn't know you had a girlfriend! Bring her up to the castle so I can meet her!"

Vahan's face brightened red. Denzel threw his head back and laughed. "Oh, Astraea! Don't ever change!"
