"This looks like it'll be a good dinner." Seven said as she carried her food up to the girls' shared room.

"Angel! Quit being an ankle biter!" Twilight hissed, shooing the white lion away from her leg. "I know you're excited for all the meat, but if you don't calm down, all you're eating tonight is veggies." She threatened, making the feline monster whine.

"You guys must be starving since you weren't able to eat with the others around." Sena chuckled, smiling softly at her beloved bodyguards.

"We are." Nightmare chuckled, opening the door to their room for the princess.

Seven rushed inside right after Sena, throwing her mask on the bed and digging into the dinner she had been waiting for. After taking off her mask, Romi's ruby-red eyes sparkled under the low-quality lights of the inn.

"It feels good to breathe." Daniela chuckled to herself, taking a seat on her bed as she removed what covered her face the whole day.

"I don't think Czar wants to breathe air if there's food in front of her." The young princess giggled, watching as two of the three short brunette's plates were finished.

"She's inhaling it!" Romi exclaimed, lying down and taking a moment before tossing Angel the leg of fried chicken she got before biting into another one herself.

"Wouldn't be me if I didn't." She sighed, running her fingers through her hair as she finished up. A grin spread onto the teen's face as Roselio sat on the stool beside her, his feet soaking in a tub of water that the staff provided.

Snowy and Angel weren't as peaceful as he was, though. They were brawling over the leg that Romi gave the white-furred monster a few seconds ago. The female monsters were tackling, shoving, biting, and pulling on each other's tails when the reptile decided to grab the leg and start flying.

Despite seeing the chaos the two were causing, Roselio paid no mind to them and continued relaxing under his lamp as he soaked.

"Not gonna do anything, buddy?" Daniela asked, surprised he wasn't scolding the duo yet.

The rose monster seemed to raise his non-existent brow at her, as if asking if she was going to interfere.

"No complaints here." She raised her hands in surrender and resumed eating.

"Hey, Snowy!" Sena called out, waving a piece of pork chop. "Give that back to Angel, you can have this." She said, smiling to herself as the dragonet landed on the ground, dropping the chicken leg for Angel, bowing to the princess before taking the meat.

"At least someone interfered." Czar chuckled, watching the two carnivores enjoy their separate pieces of meat. "We would be paying damage bills tomorrow if you didn't, Your Highness."

"I told you to quit it with all that 'Your Highness' nonsense, Czar." The platinum blonde shook her head, patting her bodyguard's back. "We're all friends here, and Sir Jock isn't here to scold you guys." She joked, causing the whole room to erupt in laughter.

"It's become a habit of mine over the years, Sena. I'm sure it isn't just me." The brunette smiled softly, turning to her comrades.

"We've been serving you since Czar and I were ten, and Daniela since she was twelve. We've been calling you 'Your Highness' and 'Your Majesty' even longer." Romi giggled, finishing the food on her ceramic plate while Angel chewed on the bone of the leg from earlier.

"I guess it's a hard habit to break." Sena sighed, crossing her arms. "Lamenting over it won't do us any good, will it? Plus, Sir Jock would kill you guys if you stopped." Her lips curved up into a small smile as she looked up at the trio, those who had been by her side for what felt like forever.
