Tina's POV:

He stared into my eyes for what felt like an eternity.

I had never had such a connection with anyone before.

I felt seen. I felt heard.

I wondered what he was thinking but at the same time I could read it in his eyes.

I felt at home.

Home, the place where you feel safe and loved.

But being with Abhay is also like traveling the world. New experiences, new passions.

But he always brought me back home where I belong.

This, this is where I belong. Lying across from him, gazing deeply into his eyes.

My lips turned upwards slightly, and he also smiled in response.

"You're so beautiful." He said softly.

Heat crept to my cheeks and I broke our eye contact, feeling shy.

"Hey," his hand held my chin up and made me look at him, "I wasn't done getting lost in your eyes" a cheeky smile was playing on his lips.

"That was so cheesy" I teased him and bit my lip, still blushing.

"Nevertheless, " he chuckled, "You really are beautiful. " His voice became serious. "And I can't believe you're here with me." He stroked my cheek.

"I can believe it." I said and held onto his hand. "We're two of the same souls." I looked at him again. "We're meant to be together."

"Yeah, like that wasn't cheesy." He raised and eyebrow and I smacked his arm.

"I'm trying to be romantic. " I pouted playfully.

"Well that's your problem," he said and my eyes widened, "look at me, I don't even try and I'm the most romantic person in this room. In any room, for that matter." He shrugged and I burst out laughing.

He smiled warmly at me when I did so.

"Can't argue with that." I giggled.

"I love hearing you laugh." He surprised me by saying. "Especially when I'm the cause of it." He admitted and stroked my arm.

I got goosebumps from his touch.

"I never want this moment to end." I admitted, moving closer to him.

"Well, if it never ends, then how can we have new moments together?" He said wisely, and my heart swelled at his words.

"You always make me feel better." I kissed his jawline.

"What can I say, I'm a glass-half-full kind of guy." He shrugged and I started to laugh again.

After a few more witty exchanges and kisses, I felt my eyelids get heavy.

"Sleep baby," Abhay held me close to him and I snuggled into his chest

"Sweet dreams." I said softly as I drifted off to sleep, and I almost didn't hear him say...

"I'm already in a sweet dream."

I smiled against his chest, and then sleep overtook me.

When I awoke I forgot where I was. Then I looked outside our little window. Ah yes, the cruise.

Our first night here was magical.

The restaurant, the dancing the beautiful ocean.

I looked out the window again. I watched the waves and felt the boat rock back and forward. Left and right. Up and down.

Up and down.

Up and down.

My vision started to get a bit hazy.

I looked down and saw Abhay still passed out.

I opened my mouth to say something but quickly closed it. Oh no.

I ran to the bathroom and locked the door.

Trust me to get seasick on our romantic vacation together.

After a few minutes I managed to calm down and then opened the door.

Abhay had woken up by then.

He sat up and looked around. "Baby are you o-" he started saying but then stopped mid sentence. He looked at me. Then held up his index finger.

He stood up, walked calmly to the bathroom and locked the door.

Then I heard him do exactly what I did a few minutes before.

Well that's just great.

A romantic holiday filled with sea sickness. At least that's one thing we'll be doing together....heaving our guts out.

I laughed at the situation, until I felt round two starting to rise up from my stomach.

"Abhay!" I banged on the door. "You better hurry up!"
