"I'm sorry, Cecil. Dr. Seismic got away."

"It's okay, Mark," Cecil assured him. "The important thing is you protected those people. Good job to you and Atom Eve both."

"Thank you sir," Mark sighed, and clicked off the earpiece.

"He's definitely quite something, isn't he?" Atom Eve chuckled.

"Of all the bosses in the world, I had to fall under this guy."

Then, Mark's eyes went wide.

"Oh my gosh, I gotta get back home right now,"

"You good?" Atom Eve asked.

"Um, yes, it's just that I left Amber alone in my room, and–well, I'll explain later."

"Take it easy now, Mark," Atom Eve said as he thundered off into the sky.

Dashing into his house as fast as he could, Mark sprinted up the stairs then paused. He was still in his superhero outfit...Amber couldn't see him like this!

He wanted to call for his dad, but then remembered he was off on one of his rotations in Japan again. Mark sighed. Just another day in the life of a superhero teenager.

Luckily, his father would always be here to help walk him through it.

"Remember what I taught you, Kaori," Omni Man smiled as he and Kaori flew through the skies. "Control your breathing and only focus on the direction you want to go." The bright red "O" on his chest glimmered with an extra flair of strength as his red cape flapped behind him.

"Yes dad," Kaori said, her eyes shining brighter than ever before as she held her small (but now powerful) fists out in front of her. The wind whistled through her hair and the chill of the air around her flooded her with excitement and energy she didn't know she had. Not too long ago, she'd been confined to a wheelchair.

Now, the sky was the limit. Literally.

"Right!" Nolan shouted.

Kaori turned to the right, maintaining control of her speed and her body.

"Left!"

Again, Kaori executed a perfect left turn.

"Below!"

Now this one was tough. Kaori needed to think for a moment what the maneuver was. Upon remembering, she looked down, observed the grass plains below them, then turned sharply upward and diagonally to the right. But her hesitation had still been evident.

"Too slow!" Nolan chastised. "Let's go again. Above!"

Kaori zigzagged to the left and right immediately, tensing her muscles as she focused on executing the maneuver properly. After some more time of flying, Nolan finally gave the long awaited command.

"Alright, turn around and head back. We'll take a break on top of Towa Hall."

On the flight back, Kaori saw Okutsu Music College looming over another neighborhood, its elegant building and quiet campus looking more regal when seen from the sky. She blushed as she remembered the look on Kousei's face when they'd receive their acceptance letters. The next few years of their lives were sure to be the best.

"Here we are," Nolan called out, pointing downward to Towa Hall. "Try to land a bit more gently."

"Look out below!" Kaori whooped with excitement as she flew downward. Although joyous, she did take care to heed her father's instruction, and landed flawlessly on the flat, quaint roof of the music hall.
