⚠️!MENTION OF PILLS AND SUBSTANCE!⚠️

Note: I hate to admit that this is an emergency story, and I'm sorry. I'm getting bad again, worse than before I think. I'll try to come back but for now it'll just be these emergency stories (and in my opinion this one is pretty shitty so I apologise).

Frank's pov

I groaned, fluttering my eyes weakly. "Huh.." I blinked. My vision was all too blurry as my head spun, my entire body feeling way too tired and shut down. I had no idea where I even was, forcing myself to open my eyes and look around. I reached into my pockets, finding nothing but loose change and a small zip log bag with small remains of god knows what. I opened it as I sniffled it, gagging the second I did. I crawled to a nearby dumpster as I vomited my guts out, feeling like I was unable to even stop. I coughed up, hard. I thought it would make me feel even slightly better, instead making my stomach feel like a black hole that was slowly sucking the life out of my body. Every step I stumbled drained me more and more, dragging and tripping over my feet. "Ugh.. fuck.." a guy mumbled. I barely even recognised his voice as I looked up, seeing him wipe the vomit from his mouth. "Oh shit.. is that you Gerard?" "I guess. Fancy seeing you here-" he didn't even finish his sentence as he continued puking, quickly holding him back as he got unbalanced and weak. The empty cup in his hand dropped as he retched into the bushes, sniffling. "You know, it's funny," he laughed a little through tears as he cleared his throat. "Running into you like this. Hey, where did you go honestly?" "Honestly dude, I don't know what to tell you. I remember we just finished a show and I took some pills and shit. I somehow ended up over there, can you believe it?" I laughed with him, pointing near the dumpsters close to the road. He chuckled as I shook his head. "Oh man, I have no idea where I even got this alcohol. Hell, I don't even remember doing a show," he admitted, making us laugh even harder.

"Yo, put your arm around me like this," "Why?" "So I can support you dumbass," I threw my arm around him. He giggled as he did the same, "let's support each other." I smiled as I let out a small sigh of relief, seeing a familiar face. Both of us were messed up, but it was good to know we had the other. I stopped walking for a moment as he did the same, turning to me. "What?" He asked, tilting his head. I didn't even think twice as I just cupped his face and kissed him passionately, walking towards him until we crashed onto the wall of the building on our right. I didn't even care that both our lips were smudged with vomit and stunk the scent of booze and more unidentifiable stuff. "Urgh.." "yeah, sorry. I don't know what that was." I apologised, unfocused. He shoved me playfully as we just continued walking, eventually making it to a hotel.

Gerard grabbed my hand as he fumbled to click the buttons in the elevator, ignoring the woman at the front desk who tried to talk to us. We skipped a couple of the floors before Gerard finally walked out of one of them, and I just followed. I couldn't remember a thing, and if we were going to go missing, I felt we should atleast be together. Gerard banged his drunken body against one of the room doors, and I just watched while leaning against the wall. The door somehow clicked, and Gerard nearly fell to the ground, "H-Hey! What the fuck?!" Someone inside the room shouted as they caught him just in time, but I quickly noticed his hand shoot up to cover his much. "Shit, can you let him in for a second? He's gonna puke again and I might pass out soon.." "Frank, what are you on? Jeez, you guys are really messed up. Come on in," they sighed. It was Ray and Brian, and they quickly let us in as Ray helped Gerard to the bathroom. "Where did you guys go?" Brian asked, trying to wipe off all the dirt and debris off of me. "Dunno. It's a funny story actually, I ran into him while on the sidewalk-" "Frank." He said sternly. "I'm gonna do this for your own good okay?" He said, not even giving me time to reply as the gave me a huge slap across the face. "Ow!" "Wake up, man. Do you even have any idea what country we're in or what date it is today?" "Uh.. no.." I winced, avoiding his gaze. Just then, Mikey shuffled past. He looked completely disconnected from the world, scratching his head. Brain let out a huge sigh as he pulled me to the bathroom. "It's okay," I could hear Ray telling Gerard as he was hunched over the toilet while I splashed my face with water.

Everyone was forced to take turns to shower, most of us just lying on the bed or on the floor drowning in our own sorrows while waiting. I slumped in a chair as Gerard, the last person to shower, walked into the room. Silence filled as I began fidgeting, my head still foggy. Gerard awkwardly sat on the edge of the bed where Mikey was lying, but none of us could look at another in the eyes. "Um.. so does anyone remember what happened?" I asked, trying to fill the void. Gerard explained his story again, going into detail about how he genuinely remembered nothing about doing a show. I decided to go next, just saying everything I could remember about taking pills and passing out somewhere near the road at some sidewalk. I could see Ray glance at me with worried eyes, but he quickly shifted to look down. "Wow I.." he murmured, his voice shaky. "I don't think I ever got to apologise, so I guess I'll say it now. I'm sorry Mikey, I know as of lately I've contributed to your alcoholism. And Frank, I honestly didn't even know. I mean, I've had a few one on one talks with Gerard, but you? I just- are you okay?" "No, yeah, it's fine." "Really? Cause you just vanished on Friday after the show ended and uhm.. today's Monday.." I blinked twice. "..what?" "Yeah.. today's Monday." "Oh.." I gulped, the letting the information sink in.

There was another moment of silence before Mikey spoke, "you don't need to apologise Ray." "Yeah, it's not your fault." "No- it's not okay. I just.. I feel like I failed you guys, you know what I mean?" He teared up. We all collectively exchanged glances before getting up to go hug him. "I'm sorry.. I feel like it's all my fault. I've been just as scared as all of us here and now, but I didn't get as bad. I'm not even doing that horrible, and yet I watched all of you get worse and didn't do anything. I'm sorry." "Ray." Gerard stopped him, putting his hand on his shoulder as we pulled away from the hug. Tears streamed down his face as Mikey grabbed the tissue box and I took one before handing it to him. "It's okay, really. It's not your responsibility to take care of anyone." "But we're friends, right? And friends look out for one another. I worry about all of you, and I think that some of us really need help. Professional help, if you get what I'm saying." "That's.. not a bad idea." Brian agreed as he came back with food for everyone. We all looked at one another before cracking a smile. "Group hug?" Mikey suggested, all of us immediately huddling up together. I pulled Brian in as I gave him an assuring smile, and he didn't say anything back as everyone took a moment to accept the warm embrace of each other. "Fuckin hell, I love you guys so much," "We love you too," "how does a break from doing shows sound?" Brian asked. We thought about it for a moment before smiling, "That would be nice."
