Note: I originally planned to write something special for story #100th like Frerard and Petekey in one story again but with a lot more words than my usual stories, but I'm unfortunately still trying to get back on writing and posting regularly. I will try to make up for it soon. Sorry everybody. Enjoy.

Mikey's pov

I groaned I pulled Frank by his arm and towards the uber. "Why is it that everytime you text me something while you're drunk I find you screaming Gerard's name on the rooftop of some random bar?" "Urghhh.. don't be such a buzzkill Micheal." "Don't call me that," I rolled my eyes. I waved at the driver as I supported Frank, helping him into the car slowly. He slumped down as he looked out of the window, watching the party lights and loud music disappear in the road behind us. "What happened man? The last time I saw you before you disappeared you were going around trying all the food at that party that was hosted after graduation, and the next thing I know, you're 25 minutes away at a bar." "It's just.. today was the last day of college.." "So? I mean, no offence, it's not really like you cared right?" I asked as he rolled his head to turn to me, tears beginning to form from his eyes. "It's just.. Gerard once told me he needed to move the second that he graduated this year, and that's today! That means I'll never be able to confess to him or see him ever again!" He wailed, sobbing into my uniform. The driver looked awkward through the rearview mirror but kept his eyes on the road as Frank sobbed drunkly, mumbling through his tears words that I couldn't even make out anymore. "There there.. I'm sure you'll stay in touch right? I mean, you guys talked and hung out didn't you?" I tried to cheer him up, but he just kept crying like a baby the whole ride.

"We're here, take care of him 'aight?" "Will do, thanks man." I replied as I pulled Frank out of the car. He sniffled and just waited outside with his head down while I went into the nearby seven-eleven and I bought us slurpees alongside some bread. He didn't even take a sip of his drink or open the packaging of the bread as we walked to his house, instead putting them on his coffee table the second we reached his house. "You gonna eat or drink anything I bought you?" "No.. I want Gerard." "I can call him-" Before I could even finish my sentence or unlock my phone, it was snatched out of my hand. "No way! If he sees me like this, he'll never like me!" "Alright, alright. But it's getting late and I gotta go home too. Are you gonna be okay?" "I'll be fine.." he mumbled. It was obviously a lie, but I could only pat his shoulder and tell him to call me if he needed anything before grabbing my phone to leave.

Gerard's pov

Hours passed as I finally finished making sure I packed all my things. Glancing around the room felt depressing, my mind replaying all the good memories that took place over the years. I slowly walked towards my window and looked out into the sky, the thought of Frank eating me alive. The rain only made the ground below look more muddy, reminding me of all the times he'd snuck in through the garden gate and would stand right infront of my window just to talk to me. The time I was grounded for an entire summer and he came every single night without complain just to see me. I sighed, debating if I should just go to bed. Everything in my mind was telling me to go to sleep and that he wasn't coming, but my heart told me otherwise. I waited and waited as what felt like forever passed. I kept telling myself that maybe he was just caught up with the party or late, but he just never came. I yawned, staring at my clock that read 2:13am. I was just about to turn away and go to bed when my ears perked up at the sound of my garden gate creaking, jolting me fully awake. I swore my body had never turned around so fast in my life as I gripped the window sill, looking outside. "Gerard!" That familiar voice screamed. He was dripping wet from the rain as he ran through the mud looking half drunk. "I LOVE YOU!!" He cried louder than I've ever heard, stopping right infront of me. I froze as he panted heavily, looking up at me with his face all red. "..that's probably the worst thing you've ever heard, huh?" He laughed sadly in a quieter voice, breaking eye contact. I tried my best to pull myself together to speak as my heart raced, taking in a deep breath before speaking. "Me too, and this probably the most idiotic thing you've ever done for me." I grinned, blushing hard. I paused for a moment before continuing, "..but then again, you're my idiot." I didn't even allow him to ask me what I meant as I cupped his face, leaning down to kiss him.

His mouth hung agape as we pulled away, barely able to get his words out from shock, "S-So, you really do like me back? Like actually?" I nodded as his finger grazed the side of my face, and I couldn't help but giggle while rubbing my cheek against his hand. "You pinky promise..?" "Yes Frank, I pinky promise you, I love you too. Now, do you wanna come in or do you prefer to keep standing outside in the rain like a dummy?" I held my hand out. He looked down at his dirty and wet clothes as he frowned, but I just smiled and tugged at him playfully, assuring him that I didn't care. He hesitated as I pulled him up, helping him put his shoes on a random plastic bag on the ground. His body was so close to mine as I didn't even notice our hands were locked together, my face getting redder before we quickly pulled away a second later. We sat down on my floor as he began searching around in his jacket, pulling out a wet paper envelope. "Ah.. shit. I was suppose to give you this.. but it's kinda wet now. It's just some stupid letter confessing my love." "Well, why'd you wait so long to tell me you liked me too? Why wait till the last night I'm here?" "I dunno.. I was scared I guess. Scared you didn't like me back. I figured since you were gonna move then I might as well just go for it, and I don't wanna keep secrets just to keep you. I've loved you for so long, I just never knew how to say it. All those times we communicated through a whiteboard because our dorm room's windows were opposite each others before you decided to just live at home and moved out. The nights I ran here just to talk to you and every single time you stayed by my side no matter what dumb rumour was spread about me. I love you Gerard, and.. I don't want you to go," his voice got softer towards the end, his tone changing from flustered to sad. I shifted next to him as I rested my head on his shoulder without saying anything, knowing it'd be the first and last time.

Neither of us spoke for a long time, sitting in silence while our fingers entwined. I listened to the sound of the beating rain in the background of his breathing as it slowly grew more and more calmer, and I didn't even need to look up to know that he'd probably fallen asleep already. I shut my eyes and smiled to myself as I held his hand in one while holding his letter in my other before eventually drifting off to sleep on his shoulder.
