Chapter 6
My head, my head hurt, it hurt a lot. I don't know what had happened yesterday, or was it today, I wasn't sure. Maybe I got hit in the head with a plank of wood again, but when ever I did, my head never hurt this bad. Hmmmm. I guess the mystery remains.
I could tell it wasn't day time because there was no sun light hurting my eyes. Or should I say my eyelids. Yes I had my eyes closed only because I didn't have the strength to open them. I only had enough to keep my self breathing. I was very weak like I had lost a lot of blood, maybe I did. I do know that I hit the ground HARD.
I was trying to remember what had happened the night before. Yes I was saying a night before because I still was not sure. Remembering is hard when you don't have much energy.
The memory came crashing down on me super hard and heavy. Weighing my self down so I couldn't breathe. It felt like 999 etc.. Million tones. But of course I could still breathe.
Mason had told me that the person that was following me, I think his name was Lewis is a vampire. But how vampires don't exist. Don't they? I was scared to answer that question, I wasn't sure I was just some average teenage nerd girl and this really hard question had to become real. Maybe Mason was faking he could be a dirty rotten liar.
Grr, why does life have to hard at times, or possibly all the time for some people.
After about half an hour of just lying where I was, I finally gain some strength, and open my eyes slightly. Opening my eyes was hard. It felt like they were glued closed, and my eye lashes stuck to each other. For my eyes it felt like trying to break cement. But I finally got them open.
As I looked around, I noticed I wasn't in my stupid enclosed room any more. I guess I called it my room seeming I was living there for a little while. Anyways, The room that I was in had red walls and a lighter red carpet. The bed I was lying in was a king sized bed and the silk sheets and duna cover was black. There was a wooden white door over next to a really big book case which was about 10 meters away from the bed. On the left hand side of the book shelf was another white door. Then a big, huge wardrobe along the wall next to the right hand side of the bed. The last door I saw was next to me and was glass. It led out to a huge balcony, which had a great view of a pool and a forest. The room was beautiful and looked like it cost a lot of money, all the doors and bed etc... Had got out line on them. Oh one last thing I didn't notice before is that there was a chandelier hanging off the ceiling. It had diamonds, rubies all the gems hanging off of it.
Ok now I knew that where I was the family / friends / people are probably rich. I was wondering if they live in a mansion, and I was wondering why I was here.
I hear a noise and instantly close my eyes acting like I was still unconscious.
" is she awake yet", a female voice asks.
" no she isn't, but I think she will wake up soon", the masked voice that I knew was Mason's replied.
" Okay how long has she been asleep?", the female asks.
" about 2 weeks or more, but I couldn't be bothered to count I'm just hoping she does wake", Mason said.
Oh my god I had been asleep for 2 or more weeks.
WHAT?
WHY?
HOW?
More questions piled in on Mason and soon Alexis joined them.
" she's going to wake any minute, but I think she already is", Alexis said.
Wait how could she tell, were my eyes open? No because I couldn't see them, but maybe I am now blind. I hoped not.
Was I asking questions too? No my wasn't moving.
Am I breathing heavily, and my heart pounding hard? Yes I couldn't stile breathing hard and deep, and my heart was so strong and pounding, I literally thought it was going to break through my chest.
Ok I have to do this, I say to myself through my own mind.
I shockingly flutter open my eyes.
