Third Person POVAurora and Elaine began walking away from Jack and down the long stone hallway, back to the library's entrance. They walk over to librarian's desk only to see the same skeleton that the boys had seen earlier. But, this time there was a book in her hand with green writing on the cover. Aurora took it out of the skeletons hand as Elaine eyed her nervously. The cover read, your friends are gone, but I know where their "hiding." A clue is in this book, find it and go to where it leads. There, your friends will be. Aurora takes the book and holds it tight while running out of the library with Elaine close behind. They make it to the bus stop before getting on the bus to go back to the hotel to solve the mystery. The bus stops in front of the hotel entrance. Elaine and Aurora scramble up the stairs and knock on the door of the boy's room. No answer. Aurora keeps knocking as Elaine calls their names. Still, no answer. Aurora walks away from the boy's door and unlocks the door to her and Elaine's room. They walk in to the room only to find it trashed. Aurora walks over to her suitcase and takes out a credit card.
"Aurora, what's that going to do?" Elaine asks, beginning to panic. Aurora turns towards Elaine and holds up the credit card. She hold the card in her left hand and flicks the edge of the card with her right hand. A blade flips up and she folds the remaining parts of the credit card into itself. "How did you get that past airport security?!" Elaine asks with wide eyes.
"I coated it in a substance that registers as plastic when scanned through security," Aurora explains while going over to her back pack.
"What are you getting now?" Elaine asks as she stands up and walks towards Aurora.
"This," Aurora says while she holds up a bobby pin before taking a small strand of hair and securing it with the bobby pin.
"Aurora, now is not the time to fix your stupid but somehow still looks good hair after everything we've been through hair! Wait, how does it still look good? Wait, don't answer that, I'll ask you again once we've found the guys and we know who this "Jack" person actually is," Elaine says in one breath.
"Elaine, take a breath and calm down," Aurora says. She walks over to where Elaine is sitting and sits down next to her. "The bobby pin is in case we have to unlock any doors."
"How are you so calm right now?" Elaine says confused.
"Whoever has the guys is playing a game. He doesn't want to hurt them but he wants us to think he will," Aurora explains.
"How do you know that?" Elaine says narrowing her eyebrows.
"In order to catch a villain, you have to think like one," Aurora says before she stands up and walks over to the door. She gestures for Elaine to follow her through the door but Elaine takes a second to look out the window.
"Aurora, it's getting dark and rainy. It's probably cold out too and were both just wearing shorts and a tank top," Elaine says turning towards Aurora.
"Okay," Aurora says while walking over to her suitcase.
"Yay! We can wear black spy outfits," Elaine says excitedly.
"Elaine, calm down. We can wear black if you want," Aurora says while taking a pair of black high waisted skinny jeans and a long sleeve black crop top out of her suitcase. Elaine wears a pair of black jeans with a black short sleeve crop top. Elaine puts on black gloves and a black hat.
"Is that really necessary?" Aurora asks after she looks over Elaine's outfit.
"Yes, very much so," Elaine says while opening the door and walking out of their hotel room. Aurora follows behind, takes a key to their room and locks the door behind them.
