Superman launched forward with the echoe of a sonic boom in his wake, arm cocked back, red lightning trailing him like a comet of death.
Izuku didn't move.
Not until the last second.
Then, in a single motion—his red-marked foot stepped forward, the ground beneath cracking, his dark wing lifted—and he vanished with a trail of pure darkness behind him.
A thunderclap followed.
They clashed midair, shockwaves rippling through the city like bombs detonating in every direction. Glass blew out of windows. Buildings cracked at the base.
Their fists met—what followed was cataclysmic.

A single collision between Izuku Midoriya and the corrupted Superman detonated like a warhead over the heart of Metropolis. Glass from the surrounding skyscrapers exploded outward in a mosaic of shimmering death. Steel and concrete groaned as the façade of the nearby WayneTech tower buckled inward, collapsing like it had been struck by a meteor.
