Percy woke up, something beeping in her ears.

"Look at that, sleep beauty's up--ouch!" "Don't be mean." Well well, she didn't expect that.

"Finnick, Johanna." She nodded, looking around.

It was not that hard to see she was in a hospital tent, quickly set up, the marble flooring of the Capitol manor... Probably a medical station set up in a room of it... That means...

She sat up.

"Wow, wow, calm down there." Finnick tried to push her down, but she shoved his hands off.

"Snow?"

"Alive." Percy looked at Johanna, shocked. "We won, the Capitol turned against him when those bombs dropped."

"Bombs..."

"There was a second round, unplanned for... Or maybe it was, but we were not warned. Only survived because we stayed hidden with Tigris."

"It was horrible to watch; they had filmed it and projected it on the big screens," Johanna added to Finnick's words. "How Snow bombed his own people to try to stop the rebels."

"Then... Katniss?"

They looked at each other, making Percy's heart sink, and she moved to throw herself out of bed before both grabbed and wrestled her back down.

"Calm, she's alive... Just injured, like you."

Percy took a deep breath, the other two victors slowly letting her go as she didn't react anymore.

"If you want to see her, you just need to be careful; that's why we are here to help."

"Help?"

"Well..."

---------------------------------------------------------

"Well shiiiiiit." Was quite the understatement for Percy.

It was like the world was trying to get her to understand she didn't deserve feet or something... Because why else would she be hobbling on two prosthetics now otherwise?

She could walk on her other one, the one from the 74th yes, but that was with her other leg being there, now she got to wake up to missing the other and compared to the first, it was an above the knee injury and she had no idea how to use the fake knee yet and was just a stumbly idiot even with crutches and two other victors to make sure she didn't fall over.

And as a last bad point about all of this, the other room used for medics was just down the hall but it feels so freaking far.

Stumbling into the room, her breath caught just like last time she saw Katniss out cold.

So small, so frail, her mother sitting by her side and in shock... But the type that keeps you moving, one Percy's familiar enough with to recognize.

Looking through the slightly blurry window pane, making up part of the door without opening it.

"Hey, can you get Prim before Buttercup bites Katniss? That cat hates her." She told Finnick as she saw the cat hop on the bed.

"...Percy..."

"Hmm?"

"I don't know how to say this."

"Everyone always says this, spit it out."

"Prim's... Gone... She was there when the bombs fell an--" A ringing from inside her head filled the hall and drowned out the words. To spit it out Finnick sure did.
