Walking into the huge training area for the last time was nerve wrecking. I see the sponsors in their little lounge, but this time all eyes are on me. During training, they acted like they were at a party, and glanced at the twenty four of us sometimes. They don't seem as alive, more like they are at school on a Saturday. I stand right before them and proudly announce my name and district. They nod, and I take it that I can proceed.

I first spot the rack of spears. Only two good throws, not too much stress for my shoulder. I pick up the first spear and grip it in my hand. The first spear hits the heart, and the second one hits the head of the dummy. I turn around to go to the knives and don't look at the sponsors. The three knives I threw hit the necks of the dummies. Running fast to the archery station, I shot one bullseye and one close to it. Then I start a quick fire, and finish with camouflage.

I walk to the middle of the floor and look straight at them, not saying a word. Their impressed expression on their faces made me feel amazing.

"Well done," One of the men say. "You may go now"

I walk out calmly, but when I am out of their sight, I run to the elevator with joy. The ride back up to my floor is quick, so within seconds I find everyone on the couch awaiting my arrival.

"Oh good! You are here! The results should be here anytime! Come sit!" Flishia says. I walk over and sit next to Elliot.

"So how did you do?" He asks.

"I think I did pretty good..." I reply. I look over at Annie, and she gives me a little smile.

"What did you-" Elliot starts saying, but is cut off by the TV.

"Hello, and welcome to the tribute standings report." Caesar Flickerman announces. "We will start with District One."

Toby and Crystal both score a nine. Brandi scores a seven, and Mason scores a ten. I thought Brandi would have scored better, because it is very rare for a career to score that low. The two tributes from district three don't do so well, and score a four and five.

"From district four, Elliot." Caesar starts. Elliot's hand squeezes mine. Elliot's image is shown on the screen. "With a score of, nine." Caesar announces. Everyone gets up and starts to congratulate him.

"Good job Elliot!" I cheerfully say. I give him a quick kiss right when Caesar says my name. Everyone in the room drops silent again.

"Kaya, with a score of," My image is shown on the screen. The suspense is killing me, and I grab Elliot's hand again. "Ten." Caesar announces.

I think Elliot reacts faster than I do, because he hugs me instantly. "Good job." He says and everyone else congratulates me. T he adults look very impressed with Elliot's and my scores.

"I say we celebrate, to the two of you for such amazing impressions on the sponsors and the citizens!" Flishia toasts. Everyone raises their glass. After we have our fun, we all relax on the couch and have some small talk.

"So what is planned for the rest of the day, Flishia?" Elliot asks.

"Today we can train you two on the interviews. You know, what to say and not to say." She informs us.

"When are they?" I ask.

"Tomorrow night. And Kaya, sweetie, we need to teach you how to walk in heels." Flishia politely says. I laugh a little bit.

"Looking forward to it."
