*Regina's POV**time lapse- 3rd week*
I sighed as I was woken up to the shrill ringing of my phone. "Just ignore it, love." Emma said and tightened her arms around me. "It could be my mom." I groaned. "She can leave a message." Emma said and pulled the blankets farther over us. My phone stopped ringing and I nuzzled closer to Emma. After a few minutes, my phone rang again. "Ugh." I groaned. "What time is it?" Emma mumbled. "It's 4:37." I mumbled. Emma groaned and I grabbed my phone off the nightstand. "Hello?" I grumbled and Emma tightened her arms around my stomach. "What the hell Regina?!" "Ruby? What's wrong?" "One, you didn't tell me that you were dating Emma fucking Swan. Two, you didn't fucking tell me that you're not coming back! What the fuck?!" She screamed. "Ruby, I-" "no! What the hell Regina. You're trading us for your movie star girlfriend. That's not fucking cool." "Ruby, let me-" "no. Just, have a good life." She spit and hung up. I released a heavy sigh. "What's wrong baby?" Emma mumbled. "Nothing." I mumbled and pulled myself out of her grip. "What are you doing?" She asked. "Go back to sleep." I said and put one of her short silk robes on over my naked body. I left the room with my phone and felt tears in my eyes. I walked through the house and got to the living room. I went out the sliding door and sat by the pool. It's still pretty dark. There's a slight breeze. It's really nice out. I grabbed my phone and called my school. "Good morning. This is Storybrooke high. How may I help you?" "Uh, hi. This is Regina Mills. I'm uh.. I'm currently living in California. And I'm not going to be back for the rest of the school year at least. I wanted to call and see if there was a way for me to do work online so I don't have to start a new school so late in the year." "I'll talk to your counselor Regina. And I'll call you back. But, I'd go ahead and get started at a new school so you can graduate." "O-okay. What do I need to do." "Where are you living in California?" "Los Angles." "Okay. Have you seen Los Angeles Central High School while you've been there?" "Yes. It's right down the street from where I'm living." "Okay. I can start a transfer. And you should be able to start tomorrow." "Okay. Thank you." "You're welcome. I'll call you after I've got it straightened things out." "Okay. Thank you." I said again hung up. I sighed and laid down on the cement, staring at the sky. I released a heavy sigh, then called my mom. "What." "I uh... I'm enrolling in a school here. If you weren't serious about me not coming back, I need to know." "Wasn't it clear? Do not come back here. You can come get your stuff. But, you're not welcome in this house if you can't respect my rules." "I'm sorry mom." "Have a nice life with that girlfriend of yours. I hope she's worth it." "H-how did you know about her?" "Ruby told me. Goodbye Regina. I have to work." "Can I call you later?" I asked, but she hung up. I felt more tears stinging my eyes and I closed them briefly. I opened them again and dialed Belle's number. "Hey." "Hey." "How's everything going?" "It's falling apart." "Are you crying? What happened?" "Everything. My life's crumbling apart." "Why? Aren't you happy? You're dating Emma. You're living in California." "Ruby thinks I chose not to come back." "Didn't you?" "No. Mary Margret kicked me out for coming and Emma simply told me I should stay with her. And now everything's falling apart. I have to transfer to a new school where I don't know anyone. My best friends hate me. My mom hates me. I don't know what to do anymore." "Hey. I don't hate you. Ruby doesn't either. She just misunderstood. I'll talk to her okay? I love you, Gina. But I have to go to school. Okay? I'll call you as soon as I can." "Okay. Thank you Belle. I'll talk to you later." "It's going to be okay." "Okay." I said and hung up. A sob ripped through my body and I couldn't stop my tears. I closed my eyes and let my tears. I felt arms wrap around me and pull me into a body. "Shh. It's okay." Emma said and held onto me. "Emma, everything's falling apart." I sobbed out. "Shh. Come on. Let's go inside." She said. I nodded and she helped me up. I fell into her arms, sobbing and she picked me up. "It's okay, my love." She said, quietly and carried me inside. She took me inside and laid me down on the couch. "Do you want some coffee?" She asked. I nodded and she kissed my forehead. "Here baby." She said, after a few minutes and handed me a mug of coffee. I sat up and took the mug from her. She sat down beside me and wrapped her arm around my shoulders. "What happened?" She asked as I took a sip of my coffee. "My mom told me I could come home to get my stuff, but I better not even think about staying. She told me I wasn't welcome in her house." I said and sniffled. "I'm sorry baby. But, you don't need her. Okay? If she's going to treat you like this, she isn't worth it." She said. I nodded, then leaned my head on her shoulder. "I have to start at Los Angeles Central." I said, quietly. "Really?" She asked. "Yeah. My school doesn't do online. So, they're setting everything up." I said. She sighed. "Well, there isn't much longer." She said. "Yeah." I mumbled. "I love you." She said. "I love you too." I said back. I drank the rest of my coffee and released a sigh. "I never imagined I'd be here. In love with you. Being in your arms. Living with you." I said. She kissed my head. "I never imagined I'd have someone as perfect as you." She said. I smiled. "Emma?" I said. "Yeah?" She asked. "You were my first.." I said. "What do you mean?" She asked. "My first." I said. "Oh.. Really?" She said. "Yeah." I mumbled. "I wish I could say you were my first. Because there's no one else in the world I'd rather lose my virginity to." She said. I nodded. "I'm glad I lost my virginity to you." I said. "I love you." She said. I smiled. "I love you too." I said. We sat there for a good hour, then my phone rang. "Hello?" "Hi Regina. This is Ms. Fisher." "Hi." "I wanted to let you know that your enrollment at Los Angeles Central went through. I talked to headmistress Williams and she said that you can start today and to come to her office and she'll get you set up." "Oh. Okay. Thank you." "You're welcome." I hung up and sighed. "Shit." I mumbled. "What?" Emma asked. I sighed. "They want me to start today. I don't have my school stuff." I said. "Okay. Don't worry. I'll get your school stuff. Go get ready. Okay?" She said. I nodded again and she turned me to face her. "It's going to be okay." She said. I smiled and kissed her lightly. "I love you." I said. She smiled. "I love you too." She said.
