Strictness is the Head of the Household

The butterflies don't let me sleep
My senses fall so very deep
Thoughts of you make me go wild
Without you, I whine like a child
I want to have you by my side
Our distance isn't even miles wide
But I'm living with strictness
My actions are dulled with stiffness
She ensures my imprisonment
Towards her I am ambivalent
However, she can't stop my mind
My thoughts roam freely and unwind
She will not contain my will
My spirit rises uphill
With the vision of what may come
So Control I shall not succumb
I will not be contained
Freedom will be attained
It's only a matter of time
Till I cease to live in pantomime
She'll soon know of my words unspoken
She'll see that I cannot be broken
I won't give up just yet
This goal will not go unmet
I'll make her see my perspective
While hoping she'll not be subjective
