Chapter 17 - Dumbledore's Office

Isabelle's POV 
We had our free period. Everyone kept on staring at Harry. He looked at Hermione and Ron. Ron just smiled and Hermione gave him a weak smile.

Then he looked at me. I didn't know he was looking at me. Suddenly, a parchment was passed on to me.
"See you guys back in the common room." said Harry. He got his belongings and left.

I opened the parchment and read it:

Belle,
Meet me at the common room.

Harry

I sighed at that. I know he needs my company right now.

So, I stood up and packed my belongings. 

"Belle, where are you going?" Hermione asked.

"I'm going to the common room." I replied. I walked off before Hermione said anything else.

I walked out and heard the voice again

Kill...Kill.

I walked further and turned to the corner.

"Harry." I called him.
He was with Justin. Once he turned around and saw me. I saw Justin was petrified with Headless Nick.

"Belle, I swear I didn't." he said.

I nodded. "I believe you, Harry."

"Caught in the act." said Filch. We both turned around him.

"Drag Miss Chan with you. You'll pay, Potter. Mark my words." with that, he left.

"No, Mr. Filch. You don't understand." Harry said.
Then I noticed the spiders.

"Harry." I said. He looked at me direction and saw the spiders. We walked to the window and followed the spiders.

Filch came back with McGongall.

"Professor, I swear we didn't." Harry said.
"It's true. We were only going back to the common room until we found them like this." I said.

"This is out of my hands Potter and Chan." she said.

McGongall began to walk us to Dumbledore's Office.

"Professor Dumbledore will be waiting for you two." she said.
Harry and I walked in.

"Sherbert Lemon." McGongall said the password.

The stairs started to appear and Harry and I stepped on the,.

"Sorry to drag you into this, Belle." said Harry.
I smiled. "It's alright."

We reached Dumbledore's Office and stepped in.
"Professor Dumbledore." Harry said.

Harry and I noticed the Hat.
"Beam you're bonnet, Potter." it said.

"I was wondering if you put me in the right house." said Harry.
"Yes, you were particularly difficult to place, but I stand by what I said last year. You would have done well in Slytherin." said the hat.

"You're wrong. Harry's the most bravest person that I've ever met. He deserves to be in Gryffindor." I said.

Harry looked at me.

"Thanks, Belle."

I smiled and nodded.

Harry and I looked over and saw Fawkes. I slowly went up to him and stroke his beak. Harry followed me and smiled.

"It's time isn't it?" I whispered to Fawkes.

Fawkes nodded and burst into flames.

"Harry. Isabelle." Dumbledore said.

We both looked up.

"Professor. You're bird. There was nothing we could do. It just caught on fire." said Harry.
"Harry, don't freak out too much." I said. He looked at me weird.

"And about time too. He's been dreadful for days. Pity, you had to see him on a burning day. Fawkes is a phoenix, Harry." said Dumbledore.

"They burst into flames when it is time for them to die and then they are reborn from the ashes." I continued for Dumbledore.

A new phoenix appeared from the ashes.
I aww'd

"Fascinating creatures phoenixes. They can carry immensely heavy loads than their tears or their healing powers." said Dumbledore.

Suddenly, the door opened.

"Professor Dumbledore! Wait! Listen, it wasn't Harry or Belle." said Hagrid.
"Hagrid, relax. I don't believe that Harry or Belle have attacked anyone." said Dumbledore. 

"Belle's far to kind and Harry wouldn't hurt anyone."

"Of course, you don't---Oh..I'll just wait outside." said Hagrid. With that, he left the office.

"You don't think it was us?" Harry asked.
"No, Harry. I do not think it was any of you, but I must ask you...is there something you wish to tell me?' said Dumbledore.

Maybe I should tell Dumbledore the voice. I thought.

"No, sir." said Harry.

"Very well then. Off you two go." said Dumbledore.

We nodded and left.

"Harry, about the voices, should we tell Dumbledore?" I asked.

"No, because if we do...more danger will come. Besides, I don't know why I can hear these voices and as for you, you're a ninja." he replied.

I sighed. I guess Harry's right.

"Oh, by the way Harry. I got your message. What do you want to me to meet you in the common room?" I asked.

Harry sighed.
"I need a friend to come with me. I'm starting to feel alone." he replied.
I giggled and grabbed his hand. "Why didn't you anything earlier?'

That made Harry smile even more. We head to the common room and rest through out the day.
