(Rachel's POV)

'What took you so long?' Nina questioned me as soon as I got into the vehicle.

'Urm... the elevator got stuck.' She looked at me with disbelief but gave up arguing and kicked off the engine.

I have no strength left to explain either. What happened up there was still a big question mark to me. And then again I've been working since I got back so what I really need was a place to slumber.

'Rachel? Hey... get up love. Sorry to wake you but you know you have to.' The voice I missed for weeks is back. Every morning Aliya wakes me up with such kindness, although I haven't asked her to do so. She knows I need it. With my eyes closed, silently I hummed for her to say I'm up. Within few minutes I was few inches away from the amazing bed my mind still yearns for. It was 4.30 in the morning. Tell me, why do we have to work so early? I mean, the normal working hours are from 8 to 5 but here I am working all night and day without a simple rest. I went to bed around 1 in the early morning. Can you imagine the horror?!

I'm glad that Jazz, Aliya and Ross are all morning people so I can depend on them when it comes to waking up before it's too late.

'Here's your coffee. Black as usual, and 3 spoons of sugar.' Ross handed me my daily coffee. With a lazy smile I took the cup of coffee and placed it on the floor. While tying the lace on my sneakers, I slowly sipped the strong coffee which helps me to keep my energy up for the whole day.

'Ready Miss. Lazy Pazy?' Jazz waved her hand from the door step for me to follow her. I'm blessed to have such friends or I won't last here in backstage even for a second!

On my way to work my mind floated back to last night. It was not awkward to meet the guys as I already knew, at least one of them will be there. I didn't tell Harry about my homecoming. It was not sudden but I missed my friends and my work. (Yeah! It's kinda surprising I know) so without claiming another week off I flew back. Aliya couldn't let me go because she had missed me a lot and Jazz handed me a bar of Cadbury chocolate as a welcome gift. It didn't last long as we all dug in within seconds. Finally, Ross gave me a short hug and led me to our shared room.

Paul was relieved to hear my dad's doing fine but I did not tell him about the whole act. I felt sorry but no way I'm going to jeopardize my career.

My work began the minute I landed because you know, no one can get away from Caroline. (I said NO ONE!!!) After a good work load, I was about to leave the stadium when Nina called me for a help. As her assistant I must attend to her work leaving whatever the work I'm doing. Of course, she's my real boss although she doesn't act as one.

According to her call, Zayn has complained about some torn spots in his shirts and some jeans so Nina wanted me to go search for them in his room. She drove me to the boys' hotel and stayed in the car as she was suffering from a cramp in her leg. This was when I ran into Harry. Seriously, I was so happy to meet him after a long time and he couldn't stay no more but hugged me tightly. Why do I have to meet these boys in a disastrous way? Always run into them or break something valuable.

But Harry was not alone. The blonde guy who always drags me into loads of trouble was standing right behind him hidden within the darkness. He was purely shocked but his emotions were too quick to fade away and turned into a cold arrogant one. Harry went on asking me questions which I answered in return but my mind was trying hard to figure out Niall. Shyness covered me and discouraged me to look at his blue eyes. I sensed his eyes moving smoothly on every feature of my face and that made me burnt from a feeling that I have never felt before. For some reason it made the surrounding surreal and uncomfortable.
