Warm water cascaded down my body, washing away the filth of yesterday and today. Well, most of today since it hadn't ended.

It was nothing exciting – the same for the rest of the week. After that evening, the most notable occurrence was the mega stream that lasted twelve whole hours, making up a balanced pie of gaming, commentary, a live release of a DD video and...

That was that. A million views? Rookie numbers in the big leagues.

Deciding that I had enough fun in the shower, I shut the stream, the glass sliding door fogged up to heaven and back. I exited the claustrophobic space, stepping onto a towel on the floor and grabbing a big one to dry myself off.

Yup, most of today was as boring as paint drying.

However, that was to quickly change.

Just as I was ready to leave the bathroom, I caught the faint ring of my phone. The custom ringtone was unrecognizable by any identifying apps out there.

My father had two vehicles in his possession; a generic, modern car and an early 2000s truck. The former was majorly superior to the latter, but the old truck had something the younger generation forgot.

In the glovebox, he had a collection of albums on CDs.

Ring, ring, the happiest sound of them all~

Picking up the phone, I swiped to accept, placing it between my ear and right shoulder as I searched the closet for a fitting attire.

"Hello?"

"Good evening, Johnny."

"Hey, I just got out of the shower, sorry if I kept you waiting."

"It's okay. I'm outside the dormitories," she said, honking for good measure which I heard through the phone and window.

"Alright, I'll be out in five minutes. See you."

"Bye."

Tossing the phone to my bed once she hung up, I finally put on the trousers. Doing so with one hand was difficult, when it was part of a suit moreso.

Indeed, today wasn't going to be a night to forget.

Personally, I wouldn't have minded showing up in my pajamas but traditions and culture and stuff, you know? And my grade, and participating in social events, and Juno.

I sighed, working on the buttons of the white shirt. Ironed and straight as every month other than the last one, I tested the integrity of the collar.

Class~

I then threw on the jacket, completing the dark navy theme. It was practically black, like Yahya, but under the right light, the hidden blue shone like the brightest star in a supercluster. I really fancied it – I picked it out myself, after all.

A minute or two later, shoes on, tucked clothes, hair slicked back into sophisticated mullet, I breathed out, patting myself down out of habit.

With everything in order, I-
