I lay out two dresses.
One is a red strapless dress that starts out tight but flows out toward the end, with gold sparkles lining the bottom.
The other one is white.
It's simple, a string to wrap around my neck making the while dress hang on my body in a comfortable way.
This decision should be easy.
But tonight is the first time since the rebel attack, that we are being broadcasted.
The only information I got from my parents is that I have to look appealing and be ready to dance.
I pick up the white one and run the fabric underneath my fingers.
"Is that dress blue?"
I look up and find my mom standing in the doorway.
"It's white, but nice guess." I laugh setting it down.
My mom eyes the dresses and then sites down on the available space in my bed.
"How are you and Harris?" She asks, taking my hands and pulling me down next to her on the bed.
"We are great. I just..." I trail off second guessing my decision I say what has been nagging me.
"You just what?" She pushes.
I pick at one of the gold sparkles on the red dress.
"I love Harris so much I am scared. I don't want to lose him or fight with him I want him all to me safe and sound. Mom, I love him so much it scares me. He was talking about us getting married when the castle was done renovating, but after the fight it has never come up again."
I pull of a sparkle and exam it.
It almost looks like a diamond you would find on a ring.
"I guess you aren't wearing that dress then." My mom says picking up the red dress and walks to the door.
"Wait, where are you going? I just ranted to you!" I say standing up.
"Be ready in 20 minutes. We are going live in 30 in the ballroom."
And with that she left.

"Maple!" A female voice booms from behind me.
I turn around and find the French princess in a blood red, way-to-tight-everywhere dress.
"Jamie!" I whisper mock under my breath.
"God, I love your shoes!" Jamie comments, pointing to my gold heels.
I glance up at her and see a fake smile.
"Cut the act, Jamie." I snap.
The fake smile falls off of her face and is replaced with a snarl.
"I've heard stories about people like you. You kiss my boyfriend and ruin our relationship. Then you act like nothing happened and you act like we are best friends. Stay away from me and Harris." I feel my face turning red with annoyance.
Jamie smiled then walked pass me, our shoulders brushing.
I turn around and stare at her as she turns the corner.
"Maple."
For the third time today I turn around to the sound of my name.
"Harris!" I yell in joy, then jump on him.
"I need to ask you a important question."
Before I can process what is happening Harris is on one knee.
