Hi guys! So new chapter! I'm pretty chuffed, I'm on a roll at the minute. So I hope you all like it and if you have any suggestions or questions or anything constructive that you think would help the story then please message me or comment with your ideas. I don't bite...promise :D

And any ideas for actors and actresses who you see playing the characters would be greatly apprciated. But I still need a character for Seb's girlfriend so message me with any profiles for them - I'll dedicate a chapter to you if yours is the one I pick :) yay!!!

Chapter 5 : Indi's POV

"I'm saying a 6," said Tabby, pointing at a guy across the street. We all nodded in mutual agreement. He was ok looking, average height and weight, nice hair, nice face - nothing special though.

We carried on walking up the high street looking in various shop windows as we passed.

"9!" squealed April suddenly. At first I couldn't see who she was speaking about, until an old woman in front of us moved and a familiar figure came into view. He had dark, tousled hair; tanned skin and was wearing a pair of jeans and a navy blue fitted T-shirt.

I turned to look at April who was practically drooling at the guy, such an attractive look for her. She had her head tilted to one side clearly examining his physique, and had sped up her pace considerably in order to get a closer look.

"Apes! That's Zac, you spaz!" Her eyes grew wide as she stared at me then back at the guy in disbelief. I laughed loudly before bounding straight up to him, tapping him on the shoulder and yelling in his ear.

"Hiya Big Brother! When did you get back hey? Thought you could sneak home without me noticing did you? No way Hosé!" He pulled me in for a huge hug. I've missed Zac since he's been away at uni, he's always been there for me and it's been strange not having him around.

"You remember April and Tabby?" I said as I waved them over. Tabby grinned at Zac and asked him how his forensic science course was going and if he'd got to solve any real crimes yet. Tabs was quite comfortable around my brother, probably due to the fact that she practically lived at our house. April on the other hand just stood and mumbled under her breath, gazing up at Zac adoringly. He just looked back at her, then to me in a bemused manner before telling me that we'd speak at home later once he'd finished in town.

"But...but Zac...he's...Hot. When did he get Hot Indiana? When? Because as far as I knew he was just another ok looking guy - a 6 or 7 at most - now he's definitely at least a 9! At least! His hair is all fwoofy and sexy and his muscles! Where did he get them from? Phwoar!" was all April could say.

She spent the rest of the day just exclaiming every now and again about my brother's new found hotness. I spent the rest of the day reminding my dear friend that he was my brother and I didn't see him as a 'Sex God'. Besides the only guy for me was Aaron. Mmm...

Slurp! Slurp! The noise was seriously irritating. I knew this but it was dead funny seeing how annoyed my friends got. We were all sitting round a table in the shopping centre drinking smoothies. Mine was yoghurt and chocolate and raspberry (not very fruity mainly cause I am not a big fan of fruit). Tabby had a Strawberry Dream and April had a Passion Dazzler. I had finished at least ten minutes ago but was still sucking at the straw trying to get every last possible dreg from the bottom of the cup. All of a sudden a hand came from nowhere and snatched the drink away from me. Tabby swiftly threw the cup in the bin next to us and turned back to glare at me. I just laughed, her face wasn't one that could do angry very easily, she was way too happy for that and within about five seconds she too had burst out laughing.

The guy at the till looked at us all practically falling off our chairs in a strange way as if he'd never encountered a group of teenage girls out boy-scouting before.

Technically we were shopping. Technically. But finding fit boys was too much fun so shopping had taken a backseat.

The guy carried on staring at us whilst serving some woman her drink - we couldn't work out if it was because he thought we were hot or because we were freaks. Probably the latter if I'm being completely honest with you.

"So how are the posters and tickets and stuff going? You got them sorted yet?" I asked the girls, who were heading the art committee for the dance.

There were lots of committees; the prom was by no means a small event, especially since I had booked the band to play. There was publicity who took charge of actually distributing the posters and tickets and other things like that. There was the art committee who had to design sets for the band and make the posters and tickets and menus. There was also a decorating team; a technical crew; the people who made all the phone calls and typed emails and sent letters to other people; and a group of budgeters amongst others.

Then there was me. I was top of the heap. Organising the school prom had always been my dream so as luck would have it I was ecstatic when I was voted chief of the whole project. Sad really that after all my work I would have no one to go with - not like Tabby and Luke or April and her two suitors both vying for her attention.

April replied first, "Really well actually, but we still need to do a photo shoot for the pictures for the posters - so you'll need to help find someone to model for us. We were thinking about putting a bit in the notices on Monday advertising auditions."

"And the tickets are pretty much done, we just need to get numbers. So now it's mainly just set for the band. We'll need to speak with them about concept ideas. We've had a few but we need to run them by the boys first," and there was Tabby butting in. Need. More a desperate want I thought. Ah well, I couldn't keep them to myself forever could I? There was stuff to be organised with the sound and lighting crew - rehearsals; along with more photo shoots by the artists. So they weren't all mine...just mainly. It was me that was getting to sit in all rehearsals, liase with them on behalf of the others, and make sure they were generally happy with the situation. Sure it was time consuming but I wasn't going to complain. No I was not.

A hand again came from nowhere and pulled me to my feet. I blinked rapidly trying to clear my head from the horrible dizzy feeling that had swept over me.

"Indi! We've been talking to you for like, ten minutes, and you haven't answered. We're going to the newsagents on the way back - it's mum's birthday next week and I need a card for her. Then we have to go home ok!" Tabby told me loudly and slowly as though she was speaking to someone who was either very old/couldn't speak English properly/was partially deaf.

I flopped down on my bed the minute I got home - shopping (boy-scouting) is deceptively tiring. Especially when a distinct lack of shopping was actually done. Ah well. I was uploading some pictures from our day out onto my laptop when Zac popped his head round the door.

"Alright sis? Thought I'd come and say hi to you properly now I'm back. What you been up to then?" he asked. So I told him about school, friends, and the dance. How I was spending most of my days with a real band, a famous band. And despite my exciting news he still managed to beat me just by saying - I got to help cut open a dead body. Eewwwww! That is just disgusting. Ughhh. Properly manky, why would you want to do that? It's vile!

"DINNER!" came a shout from downstairs. Great I thought as I eased myself off of my bed - just what I needed, an image of a rotting corpse being dissected whilst I was eating! Yum.

I know, more random gibbering that you don't wanna read, but I really am so grateful to you for reading this :) vote comment fan(please :P) spread the word
