Chapter 3: Another Accident
My body jolted awake before I opened my eyes. For some reason, my heart was beating fast. My eyes opened slowly and I had to blink a few times to see clearly. Feeling strange, I took a look at my surroundings. I laid on a tan couch and I had no idea where I was.
There was another tan couch across from me and a glass table in the middle. On the sides of the glass table, there was two tan chairs on the left and on the right. There was a small plant in the middle of the glass table. There were three doors set by rows on the right of me. The doors were decorated on each side by red-orange curtains. Between the space of the doors, there was lantern-like lights. The floor was wood but I was standing on carpet that had square designs and was a reddish purple. I realized I was in a house. It was huge. What was more alarming, however, was that it wasn't my house.
As I regained more consciousness, I started to feel nervous and oblivious. Obviously, whoever this house was had to have a lot of money. I slowly pushed my elbow up and tried to get up. Suddenly, I felt a pain shoot through my forehead. My head. Then flashbacks from last night started to come to me. I laid back down. It was hard to remember what happened last night. I remember I was at the concert. I remember the screaming girls. I remembered that I was walking to my car. But I don't remember what happened after that.
Did I get jumped? Did someone take me? I thought to myself worriedly.
Well, I wasn't chained up or tied to anything. It didn't feel like a hostage situation. However, I needed to know where I was and how to escape.
The pain from my head was still there and I couldn't get rid of it. I still decided to get up and look around the house. There had to be the door to the outside nearby.
I was walking a corner when I heard someone's footsteps on the other side. My heart rate increased and out of panic, I slowed down my pace and turned around. I'm not sure why I thought I wouldn't see anybody in this house, when clearly, I was brought here by somebody. Those footsteps were most likely theirs.
However, I turned around so fast that I twisted my ankle and fell on the wood floor. I screamed at the pain and turned slowly on my back. Did I forget to mention how clumsy of a person I am? It's always been very embarrassing.
The person who was on the other side of the corner came rushing to me. "Oh my God! I'm sorry. Are you okay?" the person said. The voice was male, and his voice was so familiar. I would recognize that voice anywhere. My heart rate super increased as I lifted my head up to see the person in front of me. I no longer felt pain or anything. All I could see was the person who was standing right there.
I stared wide-eyed, opening my mouth ajar. It was Justin Bieber. Justin Drew Bieber.
