Chapter 18: He's Mine Forever

*Katherine's POV*

---------Three Months Later--------

I woke up early in the morning. I looked over at my clock that said 7:30. Why did I wake up so early? I shrugged and stood up, stretched then groaned. I looked outside and saw that the sun was out. Yes! The sun is out and it's a Saturday. It looks like a perfect time to play my favorite sport. Basketball. I walked over to my closet and got out my shorts that were specifically only for basketball and a plain shirt.

Maybe Justin wants to play. I thought. I turned the doorknob to his room and peaked my head through. He was still sleeping. He was laying on his stomach and his arm was dangling off of the bed and his head was at the edge of his pillow with his legs spread out. He was snoring lightly too. I laughed softly. He was too cute. He looked so peaceful and perfect. I closed the door and went downstairs to the backyard then the basketball court and started making shoots.

*Justin's POV*

I woke up lazily to a sound. I couldn't detect it at first but then realized it sounded a lot like a basketball. Who's playing basketball? Especially right now? Its way early. I looked over at my clock that read 8:09. I wonder if Kath is up yet. I should go check.

I got up then yawned and stretched and saw that Kath's door was already open but there was no one inside. So she was already awake. I went downstairs and heard the pounding of the basketball hitting the concrete. I went into the backyard and saw her playing basketball.

I smiled and crossed my arms, looking at her as she dribbled the ball a few times then threw it into the basket. Sometimes she missed, but mostly, she was good and made it in the net. She still hasn't noticed my presence so I thought of an idea and smirked.

*Kath's POV*

I was getting tired and sweaty so I was planning on making it one last time into the basket then go check on Justin and make breakfast. I dribbled the ball a couple times then looked at the net. I can do this. I told myself. I was about to shoot it and then-

"Boo!" A voice yelled in my ear and I jumped, making me let go of the ball and miss.

I turned around and was face to face with Justin. I scowled at him but he just had a small smile on his face. I couldn't help but to smile too. His smile made me want to smile.

"Good morning." He kissed me on the lips quickly and smiled.

"Good morning." I sighed.

"I see you woke up early."

"Yup. I don't know why though. I just did, so I thought of shooting some hoops to kill time until you woke up." I said smiling.

He put his hands on my waist and brought me close. I put my hands on his neck and noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt and he had on shorts and blue boxers. I didn't want to be caught staring so I quickly looked up into those amazing eyes. Those eyes were such a mystery but a treachery. They did things to me that I couldn't even explain. Just like how he kisses me. And how he holds me. I love him and he knows that. He loves me and I know that. That was one thing we were sure of.  Things might get out of hand sometimes, and the media can say stuff to bring us down, but at the end of the day, the only thing that'll matter is that we love each other and he's mine for a very long time.
