Hey, so Chapter 1154 just dropped. Rocks D. Xebec's face has been uncovered and is the father of Blackbeard (Marshall D. Teach) And noted to not trust Oda's silhouettes nor trust his anime concept.

Yeah, something like this, so he can share some similarities to Dragon. In this story: Rocks, Dragon, Luffy shares some personalities: Determinations, Ambitious, Dedicated, and overthrow the government.
Luffy seeks to become King of the Pirates and oppose against the Government Dragon seeks to dismantle the World Government and declare over the World Nobles Rocks wanted to become King of the World.
If Luffy's was actually related to Rocks D. Xebec in the anime: He would probably succeeded Xebec more than Blackbeard. Who know, I might be fooling myself, If I'm entirely honest.
The reason why I mentioned not to trust Oda's concept. Take example, sure Garling's hair was light-colored in the manga and had yellow hair in the anime. But the attire seemed not fitting as a God's Knight.
Let's be real, us One Piece fans expected Garling to be a red-haired like his "astray-ed" son, Shanks. But Oda had different things in mind.

I hope you get what I mean. Now I'm not saying I'm hating on Oda or anything. I expect Shamrock to be a red-haired when his actual anime-debut is released.
