Chapter 10 Ambreèlla's POV
Leah looked confused
"Is everything ok" I ask
She stares at me and smiles
"Everything's fine thanks for asking"
"of course" I smile.
She smiled as well and began looking around
"Need help finding something"
I didn't mean to put her on the spot but hey
Braden and Tegean both stare at her
"Well" she begins
"I'm looking for two friends of mine"
"What's their names" I ask
"You probably don't" I stop her in her mid sentence
"Try me" I say
"Okay" she says
"Briland and Brooks"
I look up to the ceiling and think
"Oh my gosh" I say
"I know both of them"
Tegean looks at Leah
"I met Briland yesterday night on the roof" he nods
"Wellll" I insist
"Let us find these wonderful people".
I'm a bit uneasy about what happened yesterday to be honest
I'm not sure if Briland likes me or not but I hope for the best.
We get up from the table's and throw away our tray's we begin to walk around and look for Briland and Brooks.
Tegean and I in the front and Braden and Leah in the back I spot Briland from a distance we hurriedly rush to their table.
"Hi" I say with a smile
"Heyyy" Briland says
Looking to Leah, Tegean and then me maybe I was right maybe she hated me because she thought I was flirting with Brooks yesterday.
I reach down for Tegeans hand and grab it he grabs it back.
"Sit down guys your making a scene" Briland says playfully
She and Brooks laugh.
I laugh too, she was right we looked stupid all four of us sat down I look over at Brooks.
"Glad to see your feeling okay yesterday was a bit of a mess"
He stared at me and smiled
"Yeah it was thanks again" he says
I simply nod and look inspect everyone at the table
"I'm tegean" Tegean says
"Brooks" Brooks replied
"Why are you even here" Leah finally broke her silence.
Brooks and Briland stare at each other as if they were Leah's parents and they were deciding if she was old enough to handle the news
"Well" she pressed on.
Brooks cleared his thoart
"My heart was failing yesterday which caused less blood flow to the brain causing less oxygen causing you know problems"
"Oh my god why didn't you guys tell me sooner" Leah's said disappointed
"I'm sorry that happened to you" I say
"Sometimes the universe takes us by surprise" I continue
