Chapter 22 Tegean's POV

You'd think that the simple fact, that we're senior's would get everyone to act just a bit more mature but no.

Currently I'm sitting in a classroom full of childish children who want to be adults.

Usually I'd join them per say but right now they were out of control and I have a lot on my mind

I get up and leave the classroom the teacher had stepped out anyway. I started making my way to the nurses office

"Cathy" I said as I turned the corner and walked into her door

"T, Hiiiii" the twenty-five year old burnette said as she gave a warm smile I smiled back and leaned against the counter

"I was beginning to think you wouldn't show" she said reaching into the medicine cabinet

"Hmm you would have come and got me anyway" I said laughing slightly

"Very true" she said handing me two pills

"Thanks" I said

She nodded her head and went to her desk I grabbed a small bottle of water out of the fridge

"Thanks Mrs.Cathy for letting me sleep yet again" a feminine voice said

I turned it see who it was being slightly nosy as a Burnette emerged from the back

"Briland?" I asked as the girl came into full circle

"Tegean?"

"What are you doing here?" I said popping the pills in my mouth along with a swig of water

"I wasn't feeling to well, you?"

"Daily medication" I said with a smile she smiled back

"Okay out, off to class you two" Cathy interjected

"I'll walk you there's like a minute left anyway" I offered she nodded and began walking with me

"What has you in and out of the hospital if you don't mind me asking" she questioned carefully

I gave her a quick glance and pulled her into the library she looked at me confused

"What are we.."

"Shhh, I'm about to tell you what's wrong"

"Why here?" She whispered

"Because we're not going back to class sit"

She gave me a look but sat down anyway

"Okay, uhh there really isn't a way to sugar coat this but I have a brain tumor stage 2"

Her eyes widened in shock

"What !!!" She whispered yelled

"Yeah" I nod

I stare at her to see if she was gonna say anything else but she didn't

"I'm okay though" I stated looking outside

"I'm so sorry" she said she grabbed my hand and gave it a tight squeeze

"We're all in this together, and if you don't want anyone else to know that not including amber you have my word"

"Thanks" I said as the bell rang

"What's your next class" I ask

"Anatomy with Miller, you?"

"Looks like I'll be seeing you again"

I replied walking out of the library to go find amber I needed to talk to her.
