Chapter 18 Briland's POV
I click my pen once more before being sent out of class
"That's enough Mrs.Burchest" I look up stunned
"Get out" the teacher gritted out
I look around class and then back to the teacher I pull out my chair and walk out the class, that's when I spot Amber off to the distance I stomp my foot to get her attention.
She looks over at me and runs down to where I am
"Hey" I say
"Hey" she responds.
"Why are you out here I didn't take you for one of those kids" she asked
I slide down the lockers and sit there dazed.
"One of those kids" I mimicked as she slid down next to me
"Yeah you know" I cut her off
"M'yeah I know"
I smile at her to give her a good vibe.
"Well then what did you do" she asked unfazed
I let out a puff of air and got even more comfortable
"I kept clicking my pen guess it annoyed her" I said refering to the teacher
Amber looked at me and laughed
"Yeah" she said getting up
"Definitely not one of those kids"
She laughs again as she walks away and I feel slightly offended how dear she.
I was about to say something back when the teacher comes out to the hall way.
"Briland"
"Yes" I said getting up
"You can come back in now" she tells me annoyed already
Without a word I brushed slightly passed her and walked into the classroom all the students stopped and stared until I was near my seat.
I sat down and pulled my hair behind my ear and look down at my paper
"What the fuck is this" I whisper to myself
Really though why did I ever think I was cut out for AP calc I let a deep long sigh pass my lips before I try the problem.

I'm the first to leave when the bell rings
"See you all next class" the teacher mumbles
I begin walking down the halls trying to reach the core hall...
"Hey you" a deep raspy voice says next to me
I look up beside me and see, Tegean standing next to me you can tell that he just woke up by his eyes and voice
"Hey" I answer
Giving him a little nudge he smiles and nudges me back we start a conversation and carry it on till we get to the core hall.
I see Brooks there waiting for me I give Tegean one last nudge before I speedwalk to Brooks
"And class rating was?" Brooks say's
"A freaken 4" I reply
I see Leah and Ashton start making their way towards us.
Soon Amber joins as well, all Seniors have free period after first hour so we get to chill for a while.
When all the halls are clear Tegean speaks up with a proposal
"Well I say we go eat and then I have something to show you all"
Tegean begins walking threw the front doors, and we all quickly follow him as we walk outside to the sunshine hits us and we all link up into our pairs
"I think we should go to grub burgers shack" I suggest
"Yes, I love that place"
Amber exclaims excitedly Tegean laughs at Amber a little to hard and she punches him in the shoulder
"You two are really cute" I say
"And as for our new comer Ashton welcome I guess we'll introduce ourselves" I speak
"I'm Briland" I state
"I know" he says
"You were in my trig class last year"
"Right" I say remembering how obnoxious he was,
"I'm Ambrella but everyone calls me Amber including you now"
I shrug my shoulders at Ashton when he looks back at me
"I'm Tegean ambers boyfriend sorry she's so feisty" Tegean explains
Ashton just nodds
"No need to introduce myself you already know me"
Brooks say's giving Ashton pat on the back
"Ok well I'm starving and I'm leaving with or without you all" I say
I hear you one of them call out I get in the car with Brooks and shut the door behind me.
"Ima starving, start the engine" I laugh
"Okay, Okay" he says smiling starting the engine
Yess grub burgers here we come.
