Chapter 20 Briland's POV
"Whoa" I say
As I unbuckle my seatbelt Tegean jumps out of his car and runs to the front of the scenery
"I present to you paradise" he says
"It's beautiful" I whisper
As I stare at the serene forest green trees and all the wildlife that roamed free
The color the sky made in a certain area and the way its reflection bounced off the river
"Tegean this is gorgeous" Leah says
"I know, follow me" he says
I get out of the car after I put up the roof I lock hands with Brooks and go to follow Tegean and Ambrella.
"Zip lining" I exclaim
"Teah" Ambrella says as Tegean hooks her up
"Where are my dare devils at" Tegean ask looking up
"Right here" Leah says running to Tegean
"Wait up" I say
Running to the little line that was forming
"Are you ready" Tegean says with a wide smile
"Born ready" I smile.
Tegean hooks me up to the line and gives a hard push, the wind instantly embraces my body as I move along the line
"Whooohooo" I yell
Going down the line was exhilarating laughing at my excitement I look around me and see the beautiful scenery along with the birds of the air.
When I reach the end I glance at my peers.
"Took you long enough" Amber says
I wipe the tears that had formed in my ducts and follow the group
I pull out my phone and check the time
"Guys we should get back to school we only have 15 minutes till 3rd period" I day
Brooks looks at me and whispers in my ear
"Uh live a little I'm dying"
"Not funny" I say
"You said it first" he says.
"Brilands right we should get going soon but first look" Tegean says
We all look down and see a waterfall
"Usually I'd say jump but we gotta go" Tegean speaks
As he hands us all a shiny moonstone
"Dude do you know how rare these are" Ashton ask
"Of course he does he not stupid, dummy" Amber says
"what do we need them for" I ask
"We're gonna toss them" Tegean says
"What" Ashton exclaims
"You just said you knew they were rare and now your trying to toss them"
I look at ashton and kind of agreed.
"Make a wish guys" Leah said
She tossed her stone and ran to grab a line I toss mine and go for a line as well
"You guys don't want me to clip you" Tegean yells
"Nope we're your dare devils remember" I say
He just smiles and runs towards us.
"To our survival" I scream
Everyone yells to our survival as we all reach the end of the line and run to our cars.
"We're going to be late" Tegean yells
"Ohh so now you care" Amber shouts
I hop in the passenger seat and click my seatbelt
"Drive baby go go, step on it" I say
"Ok" he says pressing the pedal
I really hope we don't run into traffic
We arrive at the school with no seconds to spare the halls were almost clear so we all dashed to our classrooms out of breath
When leah and I arrive to our class we're drained we both plop in our seats as the bell rang.
I look back to Leah who mouths
"Best morning evva"
"Absolutely" I mouth back with a smile.
I guess you can say that this was day one of an epic school year to come.
