*Ricky's POV*
After a while in the studio of recording our new songs, we were finally finishing up things. It was a lot of work to create a whole new album but it will be all worth it when we eventually release it to the fans. But along with a new album, we need at least one of our songs to have a music video. Creating these videos are usually a lot of fun, especially with some of Chris's ideas that he has in mind, which typically have some horror aspect to them.
Not only was the acting and shooting fun, but getting our characters for the video was a little suspenseful too since Chris refused to tell us what part we would play. Well, portray at least. So, as i sat in a room separate from the set in which we would be filming, i couldn't help my mind from coming up with all sorts of these crazy characters that Chris could have had in mind. "Well someone's excited." One of the makeup girls smiled as she helped me with my makeup. I did most of my look, i put on my own eye shadow and stuff but they just helped with the finer details.
"Of course." She was right i was excited beyond explanation. It was only joy that ran through me until my eyes wandered to where Ryan stood, talking to another assistant on the set. The guy was young, maybe a couple years younger than ourselves and had the cheekbones of a model. No doubt, he was very handsome, but it killed me when i saw how they were talking. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they were most definitely flirting with each other. The guy was suggestively biting on his lip while touching Ryan flirtatiously with any opportunity he had. Not that Ryan was much better, he had a sly smile playing on his lips as they spoke.
"Hellooo..." My makeup helper, Sarah, caught my attention from where it had previously been focusing on. "What's on your mind?" She played with my hair, pushing it back into the style she had been instructed to put it in. Two can play at this game. I put on my best flirtatious smile and grinned up at Sarah.
"Just your pretty face." God, that sounded cheesy. But i kept up with the act and tried to be as seductive as i could. Could it really be that different flirting with a girl rather than a guy? I hope not.
"Why are you acting like this? Are you sick?" She felt my forehead over-dramatically for my temperature. "I don't know what you're trying to do, but it sure as hell isn't working." Fuck. Time to retreat back to plan B: get her to play along too. I don't know why i didn't just do that one first, but too late to scold myself.
"Look my sorta husband is over there flirting with some guy over there, and i need to make him jealous. So, please help?" I was nearly to the point of begging on my knees just to get her to help me. Luckily, it didn't take much convincing because she was already making a plan with me.
"Okay, so i say we go over there and flirt our asses off."
"I don't know how to flirt!" I was exasperate.
"Yeah i can tell." She chuckled. "Don't worry, just follow my lead and don't fuck up." Soon after, Sarah was leading me over to a casual spot near Ryan and his boy-toy. "Oh, Ricky, you're so funny." She cooed loudly, and laughed dramatically to catch their attention. Sure enough, i had Ryan turning around to listen to our conversation, quite obviously too. I only smiled because i didn't want to fuck this whole thing up by saying something stupid. "How about we hang out this Saturday." She winked, which i think sent Ryan over the edge.
*Ryan's POV*
Jealous? Pshh, no i wasn't jealous. Okay, maybe a little. or a lot.
"Hey, Ricky." I gained the courage and walked over to Ricky with my arm linked in this new guys arm. To be honest, me and this guy weren't anything. I only started to talk to him because i needed help restringing my guitar. After that, the conversation just kind of ignited into so many other things. This guy wasn't all that bad but i didn't see him as more than a friend. "Oh sorry to interrupt your conversation." I said in an obviously fake tone, pulling my new friend closer to my side. "I was just wondering if you met my new friend... Andy." I gestured to the man at my side. I saw Ricky look him up and down from his longish black hair to his ripped jeans on his thin legs.
"Hey, Ricky, I'm Andy Biersack." He introduced himself, putting out his hand for Ricky to shake, which Ricky reluctantly did.
"This is my friend, Sarah, well maybe more than friend." Ricky sent a wink back to Sarah who giggled and blushed like a school girl with a crush.
I felt my heart being ripped in two with a huge pain in my chest.
