The cool feeling of water on my forehead was the first thing that I felt when I woke up. I welcomed it and allowed it to seep through my skin, giving me the sweet refreshment I needed. Sadly, the rest of me could not enjoy the liquids small bliss.

"Oi, are you awake?" A familiar voice broke my small moment of satisfaction.

I turned my head slowly to face the one and only maroon haired royal. He looked over me with caution and sighed.

"I guess that is a yes," he said, rubbing the back of his head.

I turned my resting position to my left side away from him, not even bothering to try and get away again since I was still feeling sick and my hips strength had not fully returned.

I guess I would just have to wait for the right moment to get away from him and get the crown.

"Hey, look at me," The royal orders me, but I defiantly scoot closer to the other side of the bed away from him.

"Fine I guess we have to do this the hard way." I tense at his words, scared of what he meant by that.

A cool hand grabs my chin and turns me towards the royal's direction. In an attempt to slap it away I swing one of my hands at it but another hand catches mine and pulls me even closer to him. I close my eyes and grimace at the pain from the bruises on my wrist that were given to me from the previous night. The royal seems to notice my pain and clasps his hand over mine instead as he edges closer towards me. I feel myself slide into the royal's warm chest perfectly.

"If you don't do what I say I will punish you," The royal smirks before giving me a deep and passionate kiss.

Heat surges through my face as he continues to "punish" me. His lips move over mine roughly and render mine passive. I struggle under his grip with no success.

"Please, ngh!" I hold back a small moan while the royal licks my neck teasingly.

With all of my effort, I try to hold back any weird noises this time in hope that the royal will stop, but it has the opposite effect. The royal starts to move quicker and lift up my shirt.

Thump Thump Thump

"King Rin?" A sweet kind voice rips it's way right through the moment, halting the royal, "Queen Gou requests to speak with you"

I jump up and scan the room for the owner of the voice. Thankfully no one else is present within the room, therefore the person must be right outside the door.

The royal sighs, accidentally blowing his hot breath into my face, and pushes himself up off the bed.

"Please tell her, that her brother does not want to put up with her shenanigans today," The royal walks over to the door and pushes his hair back.

"I- er, King Rin, I can't exactly say-"

"Just go," King Rin says with an intense and commanding voice that sends shivers down my spine.

There was no objection. The sounds of fast footsteps escalated then faded as the poor soul who took the unstable position as messenger walked as quickly as she could away from the room.

"There was no need to be so horrible to her," I murmured, swiping the tangled sheets off of my waist.

The royal turned to me and sighed.

"If I wasn't like that she probably would have come in to try and drag me to my sister and she would see you, what kind of impression do you think that would give her?"

I feel my face turn a dark shade of red before pretending to suddenly be interested in the garden outside of the King's window.

Every kind of flower that is known to mankind must be out there along with neatly trimmed bushes and a small clear wading pool right in the middle, surrounded by smooth gray stones. I stared at the water, craving to take in its comforting embrace.

"Do you want to go out for a swim?"

I turn around to face the King and his signature smirk.

"Your too easy to read," The royal chuckles lightly, "I'll bring you out there sometime."

My heart sunk a little when I heard him say "sometime". I wanted to go now, I wanted to feel nothing but the water and let it welcome me, I wanted to be free.

"Do you want to take a bath?" The royal asks, slightly elevating my hopes.

I give him a slight nod and climb to the edge of the bed. Slowly, I swing my legs over the edge and try to stand.

Thankfully, it seems like enough strength has returned to my hips and I start to walk. The royal sticks close to me, ready to catch me if I fall, as he leads me towards his bathroom.

"I already set everything up, so I'll just let you enjoy yourself for a bit, but don't think that you can get away. Nothing gets past me," King Rin says as we enter the bathroom.

Faintly, I nod in his direction to show him that I understand as he leaves the room, leaving me to my own devices. I look around the bathroom and marvel at the size of the bathtub.

Crystal clear water fills a bathtub that could fit twenty people and I have it all to myself.

For once ever since I entered this castle I smiled an actual genuine smile. I felt happy that I could be alone and enjoy the water.

Stripping of the fresh clothes I had on, I made my way to the tub and plunged in as quickly as I could.

The warm water lapped around me as if it was embracing me. I sighed and leaned back on one of the sides. It felt as if this water welcomed me and needed me.

I liked it, to say the least. It was as if I actually had a place in this world, a place that would welcome me no matter what. I sunk into the water and let my head go under.

I wish I could just stay here and never come back to the surface again.

HELLLOOOOO LOL IM SUCH A HYPOCRITE BUT HEY I UPDATED!!!

Anyway, I have a friend who co owns this account but she's innocent af. So she'll be putting a Kuroko No Basket fanfic up soon and you guys MUST read it, I READ IT AND ITS SO FRIGGIN GOOD!
