"What?" Mal said, "I am NOT going to a school full of prissy pink princesses!"
"And perfect princes," Evie said in a dreaming tone. "Ugh!"
"I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon." Carlos said, "My mom said they're vicious, rabid pack animals who who eat boys who don't behave."
I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
"I don't do uniforms." Jay said, "Unless they're leather, you know, you feel me?"
I shivered, "smiley cheerleaders and preps...Ugh."
Mal said, "Mom, we're not going!"
"Oh, you're thinking small, pumpkin. It's all about WORLD DOMINATION!" Maleficent yelled. She glared at us. "KNUCKLEHEADS." She turned her back to us. Looking over her shoulder, she called, "Mal!"
We entered the old castle that belonged to Maleficent and her daughter. Maleficent sat in her favorite chair. Mal stood in front of her while Carlos, Jay, Evie and I stood to the side. I muttered, "I'm not going. They'll have to turn me to stone before I do anything of the sort"
Evie said, "They'll have take all of my make up and cut my hair off."
Jay said, "They'll have to stuff me in a lamp."
Carlos said, "They'll have to attack me with dogs."
"You will go," Maleficent ordered. "You will find the Fairy Godmother and you will bring me her magic wand." She effortlessly blew on her nails before staring straight at us. "Easy-peasy."
Mal said, "What's in it for us?"
"Matching thrones," Maleficent dryly said, "Hers and hers crowns."
I spoke up and gestured to the five of us, "I think she meant us."
She muttered something to Mal.
I said, "Well, someone get a ship."
Carlos, Jay and Evie laughed at me.
"Well, then GET ME THE WAND!" Maleficent yelled. "Get me the wand and we can do that and more! With that wand and my Dragon's Eye, I will be able to bend both the powers of good and evil to my will!"
The Evil Queen reminded, "Our will."
Cruella pointed, Jafar looked up and my mother, Medusa, puckered her green lips. "Our will, our will." Maleficent muttered. She snapped her fingers, catching Mal's attention once again. She warned, "And if you refuse, you're grounded for life, missy."
"Wha--" Mal said, but Maleficent quickly shushed her. Maleficent leaned in close, her eyes glowing green. Mal's did the same and the staring contest started. Evie and I mocked them, my brown eyes turning green and her brown eyes turning blue. We turned our attention back to the original staring contest.
Mal gave in, sighing. "Fine, whatever."
Maleficent said, "I win."
The Evil Queen called, "EVIE!"
We all split up and went to our parents.
The Evil Queen told her daughter, "You just find yourself a prince with a big castle and a mother-in-law wing."
Together, they said, "And lots of mirrors!"
Evie laughed. The Evil Queen said, "No laughing; wrinkles."
"Oh, well!" Cruella protested, "They're not taking my Carlos! I'd miss him too much."
That gave Carlos hope. He said, "Really, Mom?"
"Yes!" Cruella said, "Who would touch up my roots, fluff my furs, and scrape bunions off my feet?"
And...there it is.
"Ugh," Carlos shook his head. "Yeah, maybe a new school wouldn't be the worst thing."
Cruella reminded him, "Oh, Carlos, they have dogs in Auradon."
Carlos paled. "Oh, no, I'm not going!"
Maleficent scoffed.
"Well, Jay isn't going either!" Jafar declared, "I need him to stock the shelves in my store!"
The Evil Queen said, "Evie's not going anywhere until we get rid of that uni-brow."
Medusa, my mother said, "Why, Maddie's not going anywhere. Not that nail polish. And, oh, my word, you're not wearing my lip stick! Must I remind you that men only go for the looks? Not the personality."
I bit my lip and looked down.
"What is wrong with you all?!" Maleficent ranted, "People used to COWER at the mention of our names! For twenty years, I have searched for a way to get off this island! For twenty years, they have robbed us of our revenge! Revenge on Snow White and her horrible little men!"
The Evil Queen muttered, "Ow."
Maleficent pointed at Jafar. "Revenge on Aladdin and his BLOATED genie!"
Jafar raised a wooden spoon and yelled, "I WILL--"
Jay held him back.
Carlos cowered behind Cruella as Maleficent pointed at her and spoke. "Revenge on every sneaky Dalmatian that escaped your clutches!"
Cruella smiled, "Oh, but they didn't get the--" she laughed, crazy was written all over her laugh. "They didn't get the baby!"
Maleficent pointed straight at my mother. "And, lastly poor, poor Medusa. Outcasted for her looks. Its time you get revenge on those hypocrites. To show them looks don't matter." She said as she threw an arm over my mother's shoulder.
"And I'd turn them all to stone." My mom bit out. "Soon Auradon will be nothing but gravel." She said chuckling bitterly.
"I, Maleficent, Evilest of them all, I will finally have revenge on Sleeping Beauty," Maleficent snarled, looking into the Evil Queen's mirror, "and the relentless little prince."
Maleficent declared, "VILLAINS!"
Medusa said, "Yes."
Jafar said, "Yes?"
Cruella said, "Yes?"
The Evil Queen said, "Yeah?"
Maleficent smiled at them all. "Our day has come."
I pointed my finger at Jay, Carlos, Evie and Mal and motioned for them to come into a corner.
Mal said, "Villains."
"Finally," I said, "We can prove ourselves to our parents."
Evie said, "It's the only way."
I looked at all four of them and said, "We have to do this."
