"Okay," Mal said, pointing to a sketch of the wand. "So we all know what this looks like."
We all said, "Yeah."
I said, "So it'll be up the dais, under Beast's bell jar, and you'll be coming in from here. I will be at the very front, the rest of you will be up on the balcony. Carlos?"
Carlos said, "Okay, so I'll find our limo so we can break the barrier and get back on the island with the wand."
"Perfect," I said. "Evie?"
The princess said, "Yeah?"
Mal handed her a small perfume. "You will use this to take out the driver. Two sprays and he will be out like a light."
Evie took it, "Okay."
Mal said, "Maddie, we need a battle strategy if someone thing goes wrong, okay?"
I nodded and they all left the table. I took Mal's book. And found the anti love potion. "You aren't going to break Ben's love spell are you" Evie asked. "Yeah, it just. When evil takes over and our parents locks all the prices, princesses, king and queens up. Ben being in love with me seems a little cruel." I told her.

I stood in the kitchen making the anti love spell. Tears fell down my face. I sang, "A million thoughts in my head, should I let my heart keep listening? I know it's time to say goodbye; so hard to let go..."
I took the paper with writing on it and placed it on his jacket. I knew his world shined too bright and moved too fast, but I just thought... this can't be of harm. He can be of use to me. But...then...he smiled at me, and he treated me so well. I guess...I guess it's not hard to fall in love with someone when they see the mixed up parts of your soul, when they understand the darkest and dustiest corners of your mind.
Someone walked in. I looked up and saw Ben.
He said, "Hey, I was wondering if you were here?"
"Why?" I asked.
He walked towards me. Tears continued to fall but I quickly wiped them away.
He said, "You shouldn't care if people see you cry, alright? Especially you."
I said, "Why?"
He replied, "Because I think you look really beautiful when you cry."
I smiled softly, before saying. "You really don't know anything about me."
"You're right. I don't pay attention to anything you do. I don't know that you always let Evie do your makeup or hair cause you know she should have a something to enjoy and she's your best friend. Mal is more like your sister though. You and her always have the same ideas. You both hate girly things but you let Evie do them to you. With Jay you always get annoyed with him but you still need him as a friend. And I see how you are with Carlos, a friend that needs you to be there for him, who you will always defend, even if it means getting kicked out of the school for taking someone's voice. And even though I know you would've stayed on the Isle with your mother, you came here to help your friends, 'cause that's just the kind of girl you are." He rested his hand on my cheek. "I know you Maddie."
I said, "How would you feel if I disappeared?"
"Don't," he said. "You can't come into my life, make me completely fall in love and then just leave." He walked out of the kitchen. "I'll see you later, Maddie."
I took out a picture of Medusa. I said, "Everything I did was to make you proud. Every scheme I planned, every spell I spoke, every boy I never liked. I did it all for you. And this is how you repay me."

I sat on the corner of Evie's bed. She was asleep.
I played with a curl. I said, "Everybody smiles when they're with you. Please...From now on, go and help people in my place. Share your happiness with them, because now I'm going to have to break a lot of rules, and I have to break a lot of hearts. Just because someone is important to you, it doesn't necessarily mean that, that person is good. Even if you knew that person was evil, people cannot win against their loneliness. And if love is just a word, why does it hurt so much when...when you realize it isn't there? I...I want to go home, and in order to do that...well... I have to bend a lot of rules."
