"I'm ba-a-a-a-ack!"
It was Medusa.
I stuttered, "M-M-M-Mom!"
She grinned at me. "Why, such a beautiful dress for taking over the world with evil, Maddie."
I said, "Go away mother!"
"You're funny." She said, laughing at me. "Whilst you're hiding behind your poor excuse for a prince, I'm going to take that wand and conquer the world!" Her voice echoed around the room. She looked at me with crazed eyes. "Have you forgotten? YOU'RE MINE."
She put her arms up and the color green surrounded her. When she was once again visible, she was huge. She crawled towards me. And I felt it. It was fear, but it was no ordinary fear. This fear bears no analogy to any fear I knew before. This is the basest of all possible emotions, the feeling that was with us before we existed, before this building existed, before the Earth existed. This is the fear that made fish crawl out water onto dry land and evolve lungs, the fear that teaches us to run, the fear that makes us bury the dead. This was the fear that made Queen Belle and King Beast banish all villains to the Isle of The Lost.
Mal said, "What do we do?"
After a long silence, I said, "RUN! GO!"
They all ran in front of me. I was always the slowest. Then something wrapped around my waist and I knew that I was done for. I was held forty feet above the air as I pounded my fist's onto Medusa's snakes.
"Oh, dear," I could hear the amusement in her voice as she spoke. "Let's watch your prince turn to stone"
I yelled, "LET GO OF ME!"
She scoffed. "You're a joke. Did you really think your prince fell in love with you? He'll be gone in a millisecond! You should be thankful for me!"
"LIES!" I yelled, "MAL! THE WAND!"
Mal threw the wand to Ben, who threw it to Fairy Godmother. But the action was too fast for Medusa to catch, so she shrunk to normal size.
"Ben! Close your eyes" I yelled at him. He did as he was told.
"Open your eyes dear. It's rude" she said. I saw him slowly open them. I ran forward and blocked Ben.
No.
This is the end.
I could feel myself getting heavier and still, until I was fully stone
Mal POV
I saw Maddie turn to stone. I grabbed the wand from the Fairy Godmother. I said, "Can I borrow this?"
She replied, "Please do."
  I held it in front of her. I said, "You can break my soul, take my life away, beat me, hurt me, kill me, but for the love of Auradon, don't touch my best friends."
I looked at Jay, Evie and Carlos. They nodded in approval.
I waved the wand, "Some are evil, some are kind, but now, all must speak with my mind."
They all walked towards me, grabbing hold of the wand.
  We all yelled, "HERE THESE FIVE DESCENDANTS CRY, BE GONE, MEDUSA, VAPORIZE!"
In a puff of black smoke, she was gone. I coughed.
I spelled, "This, that, no copy cat."
Evie, Carlos and Jay awoke from a daze.
I ran towards the smoke, coughing in the process. I gave the wand back to Fairy Godmother. Maddie was still stone. Ben had tears streaming down his face. His parents put a hand on his shoulder. "I know a spell but it has to be done by her true love" I said. "What is it" he begged. "This statue is not that formal, turn my love back to normal" I told him.
"This statue is not that formal, turn my love back to normal" he said. He repeated it seven times. After a few seconds nothing happened.
Then she started moving and colour was brought to her body.
Maddie's POV
Ben jumped up.
I glared at him and stood up, brushing off my dress. I punched him in the arm. "You scared me!" I yelled
He said, "Good to know."
"I will break you." I threatened.
"Good for you." He said smiling
"Ooh look, you have a shiny crown"
"We're back to that? Look what you're wearing."
"Was that a retaliation?"
"No, just a fact."
"Say something!"
After a long silence, he said, "I love you"
I smiled as I hugged him. I knew he was smirking. He grabbed my arm and spun me around. He let go of my hand and I ran to Jay, Carlos, Evie and Mal.
Evie said, "What just happened?"       
I said, "I have no idea."
I asked, "What did you do?"
They repeated, "No idea."
Jay said, "Well, that was epic."
I laughed.
Ben walked towards us again. "Wasn't I supposed to save YOU, damsel in distress?"
"Well, you almost got turned to stone." I grinned, "Who's the damsel in distress now?"
"Is that going to stick?"
"I'm engraving it in my room."
Jay wrapped his arms around the six of us. "Let's get this party started!"
