"E.Q.," Maleficent ordered the Evil Queen, "Give Evie the magic mirror."
"Yeah," The Evil Queen handed Evie a small compact.
Evie took it, "Th...This is your magic mirror?"
I said, "Shouldn't it be on a wall?"
"Yeah, well, it ain't what it used to be." The Evil Queen said, "Then again, neither are we." Maleficent and the Evil Queen shared a laugh. "It will help you find things."
Evie hopefully said, "Like a prince?"
"Like my waistline."
"Like the WAND," Maleficent said, "Hello?"
The Evil Queen agreed, "Hello."
Medusa ripped her snake necklace off her neck. "You won't be needing that fake one anymore." She slipped her REAL snake necklace off her neck and clasped it around my neck. "You need the real deal if you're going to be going to a school like Auradon. Now, what's our motto?"
I said, "If they think your ugly, don't be afraid to turn them into stone as long as you have a good hiding spot" we both said. We both glanced up at the basement in the roof.
"My spell book. My book! I need my-that book!" Maleficent panicked. The Evil Queen pointed behind her. "Oh, ah, the safe, the safe!" She tried her best to open it but failed. "Queen, help me! I can never figure this thing out!"
Maleficent banged her fist against the safe refrigerator before the Evil Queen took the handle and opened it, saying, "Viola."
"My spell book-come, Mal, darling, come." Maleficent took it out of the freezer. It was ever-so-obviously cold, considering Maleficent almost dropped it. "Oh, there she is. You see, it doesn't work here, but it will in Auradon." She sighed, "Remember when we were spreading evil and ruining lives."
The Evil Queen and medusa sadly said, "Like it was yesterday."
"And now, you will be making your own memories." Maleficent said.
Wait for it. Our parents always do this. They something that gets our hopes up and then...SLAM! There's the catch.
Maleficent drew it back as Mal reached for it. "...by doing exactly as I tell you."
And there it was.
"Carlos!" Cruella called, "Come!"
The Evil Queen asked Evie, "Who's the fairest of them all?"
Evie squealed, "Me!"
The Evil Queen shook her head. "Ah..."
Evie sighed, "You."
The Evil Queen smiled, "Better."
Jafar told Jay, "Now, recite our mantra."
Jay said, "There's no 'team' in 'I'."
Jafar nodded, "Run along! You're making me tear up!"
We ran into the limousine. I gripped the snake necklace around my neck.
Jafar called, "Bring home gold!"
The Evil Queen yelled, "Bring home a prince!"
Cruella said, "Bring home a puppy!"
Medusa said, "Bring home a statue!"
I swooped my brown hair to one side brushed it out of my face with my fingers. I stared down at my boots. There was no turning back now.
