Reality Of Devotion - [Boruto: Shinki x ChoCho x Mitsuki]

A War of Hearts

Prior to Jigen and Code's assault in sunagakure, Code had freed Eida from her capsule which allowed her to have control over not only him but Kawaki as well.

The girl considers herself to be the only girl in the world but she can't seem to get the affection of Boruto,Kawaki, Shinki nor Mitsuki. She's not sure why they are immune to her so she has decided to to give Kawaki his dream of having both his and Boruto's roles swapped.

The moment she used her omnipotence the future changed swapping the two Jonin's lives forever. The person most affected by the change is Sarada who makes it her duty to prove Boruto's innocence despite all being under omnipotence to believe he betrayed the Leaf village and is an enemy of shinobi.

Sarada decided to head to the sand village to convince Shinki that Boruto is innocent and Eida changed the future.

The large gates leading to the Suna palace opens and the Black haired Kage walks towards the KazeKage's office.

- Shinki-Dono I request your audience

Sarada waits infront of the door for what feels like an eternity and the door is opened half way to reveal bright Emerald eyes peering through the darkness down at her.

- What is it?

- I'd like to discuss a matter of interest and to ask for your help Shinki

With a sigh and a low inaudible growl Shinki leaves the door open and he sits in his chair with his arms crossed in a resting position.

- Enlighten me

- Boruto is not the wanted shinobi who we are all supposed to want dead or alive it's Kawaki

Shinki blinks slowly with a soft hum of interest coming from him as his stare intensifies upon the Uchiha Kage.

- Lord Eighth are you suggesting that our memories have been altered?

Sarada nods her head and she continues to explain to Shinki for a good couple of minutes all of the info she has on Kara, Eida and Kawaki.

- So this is indeed a conflict of interest and Boruto needs to be retained for protection and we as Kage need to convince the others of his innocence

Shinki speaks in a matter a fact tone but there's a hint of doubt in his very low-pitched voice.

- Yes but

Sarada is cut off by Shinki suddenly rising from his seat& he stares down at her intimidating the Kage he has learnt to see as an equal after their numerous sparring sessions.

- How do I know you aren't lying due to your affections for him?

Sarada stares up at Shinki briefly seeing a glimpse of the future with his hair being much longer and him resembling a mixture of the late Madura Uchiha and Gaara with a lightening bolt tattoo which glows covering his left eye the image shifts to his current Kage appearance at the age of sixteen with the flashing of lightening outside with the sounds of thunder in the background.

She swallows a lump in her throat and she slams her hands down on the desk which separates the two Kage.

- My feelings have no effect on my duties, I would not lie to seek help to save him whether he's my lover or not!

Shinki sighs and he smiles with a mischievous gleaming in his emerald eyes.

- How about we run a check real quick

Shinki sends an eagle off with a whisper and shortly after they hear a loud thud on the window which reveals ChoCho who is standing on the window in a casual manner.

- Shinki!

ChoCho squeals and she flips out of the window and she dashes for the Suna prince who opens his arms to catch her the moment she tightly embraces him.

- Why would you suddenly call for me when I was back at the cloud?

Shinki caresses ChoCho's head and his smile widens at the confused Uchiha who he stares at through the corner of his eyes.

- if I went rouge would you forsaken me and stick with other Ninja who hunt me?

Both Sarada and ChoCho gasp in surprise at the dark haired shinobi's question and ChoCho thinks hard before reacting to his sudden question.

- Well that's a tough question what brought this on?!

- Just answer truthfully

Shinki holds ChoCho off him and he stares down at her with a serious expression.

- I wouldn't be happy about it that's for sure, but to hate you..I could never I would do what I need to keep my friends and people safe but at the same time I wouldn't give up on you!

Shinki smiles and he turns to Sarada with his arms crossed.

- So again Uchiha why should I believe you?

Sarada's Mangekyo Sharigan activates without her noticing and the petals in her now red eyes spin rapidly with blood pooling at the corner of her eyes.

- Sarada hey calm down!

ChoCho runs to her friend and she hugs her to comfort the distraught Uchiha.

- I am not lying Boruto is innocent!

A gust of wind blows into the KazeKage's office which surprises Shinki as he sees a black cape blowing in the wind.

- Sasuke?

Shinki exclaims in surprise as he now takes the situation even more seriously with the presence of the shadow Hokage present.

- Sarada get ahold of yourself or you might put more pressure on your eyes

Sasuke scolds with a hint of concern in his voice as he can see the progression of her mangekyo getting stronger.

- Father Shinki needs to see what you saw in my memories please show it to him

Sasuke uses his eternal mangekyo sharingan to show Sarada's memories through the form of genjutsu.

Shinki and ChoCho both sigh in surprise at what they saw in Sarada's memories.

The shinobi discuss a plan to save Boruto all the mean while Kawaki is enjoying his life in the leaf village as the Hokage's son who is trying to get Naruto back from being sealed in another universe.

Some time after in the future

A blue vortex opens infront of the Kage Statues and longer yet spikey Blonde hair emerges from it with cold blue eyes and tattered shinobi gear.

- Imposter

Boruto says as he stares down at Kawaki who he missed stepping on by the tattooed male vanishing at the last moment only for the ground to crumble where he was standing due to Boruto's force.

- Boruto you know you aren't wanted here

- Silence or I will show you the pain you put me through ten fold Kawaki

Kawaki laughs as his arm glows red with his Karma being activated.

- The age of shinobi is over

- So this is what it has come to?

- I'll send you to where lord Seventh is

The two shinobi clash with a large thud within the Hokage statuses and the whole area is clouded.
