I study Jace, his blonde hair sticks up in all directions and his blue eyes sparkle with honesty. He smiles at us and I feel Maddie grab onto my shirt. I watch him so closely that David step forward slightly. I tense even more but don't make another move. I'm trying so hard to keep my wolf in check and I think everyone in this room knows that.
I study him next, unlike Jace his hair is cut short and is styled back. His eyes are dark green and his stance says he can take care of himself.
I look at Aiden after David, unlike Jace and David he is small and has dark hair. His eyes are bright brown, like chocolate and he has his head tilted towards the side.
I look towards Dominic last, he towers over the others and has long black hair. You can tell that he has been in lots of fights by the scars that cover his face and arms. His eyes hold memories that would haunt even the bravest man's dreams.
Maddie shakes my shirt and I step aside, making sure that we are standing side by side; in case they do anything.
"I'm Maddie and this is my brother Bailey, he doesn't really talk" She says.
I growl low, making it clear that I may not talk but I'm still deadly. Maddie grins at me and I smile, my teeth show and she laughs.
"Stop it, you will frighten them" She says. I huff, her eyes widen at the first sound I've made since our pack was murdered.
Everyone laughs apart from Dominic, who tilts his head and looks like he would want to fight an army than stay and listen to my sister. I take a disliking to him, my sister is full of light and joy and no one is going to take that away from her. I stiffen as I watch him, he meets my eyes then gently smiles but it doesn't convince me that he's not a threat to my little pack.
"Will you come with us to my house, you guys can rest there for a while" Jace says.
Maddie looks at me, I decide that we do need help but I don't know if it's needed from these guys. I step back, Maddie growls because she knows that I won't do it. It's my move for no.
"If you won't go, I will" She says. My eyes widen and I tense at the thought of her going and staying with these strangers.
