Baileys POV
My eyes sting, I can't feel my body and I realise that I must be dead. Does death hurt? or am I dreaming and have silver in my system? I try to think about what happened but that gives me head ache.
"Wake up bro, it's time for our run" Is the only thing to break the silence that swirls about my head.
I try to respond but I can't, my body won't even move never mind talk. I now realise that I can talk, after so many years of not talking I can talk but my body won't work.
I cringe at the thought at my sister won't ever hear me, she tried to get me to talk but I never would. I feel the darkness let up a tiny bit and I try with all my might to move, still nothing.
I mentally sigh, I can't get out of my head and I can't see anything. I'm so bored! I yell into my mind. I suddenly hear something that shouldn't be in my mind.
"Bro?"
"Maddie?" I reply to the unknown voice in my head, maybe I'm crazy.
"It's me, how are you doing that?" The voice replies.
"I don't know, but I'm glad I can finally hear something other then my own thoughts" I reply, maybe I'm crazy but I know that my sister can really hear me.
The pressure let's up and I find that I can move my hands, I presume that Maddies grabs one because I feel a calmness settle over me. That only happens with the touch of a sister, I sigh and try to move something else.
My eyes pop open and I smile, my body has been given back to me and all I can see is my beautiful sister, Maddie.
"I love you bro, I should never have left you" She cries.
"Hey, what's done is done let's just enjoy the time we have together" I reply feeling like I'm on top of the world.
