Silent Wolf

Chapter Eight

My jaw drops, Maddie has never done or said anything like that before. Jace and his pack stand silently, I pray that I can find words to argue with my sister but as usual I can't speak.

I frown and wait for her to say something else, she glares at me as if I've done something that's offended her.

"I want to have others about that talk, do you know how lonely it is not being able to talk to someone?" she says.

I growl, she knows she's hit a sore spot for me and I'm going to tell her how bad she just hurt me. It's not my fault I can't talk, it just happened after my pack.

I turn my back and walk away. I wait for her to follow, she doesn't. I sigh, I hear the others leave and I know Maddie and the dogs have gone too.

I sit on the floor and put my head in my hands, What the hell did I do that for  I scream silently in my mind but I don't get an answer.

I look around, the walls start to close in around me. I panic, the room is too small. My breathing picks up and I realise I'm having a panic attack. 

I try to slow my breathing but I can't, I wonder outside. The cool air makes it easier to think. Maddies gone My mind tells me, shut up I reply.

I shiver, the moon will be full in a week. I look towards the woods, I decide that if Maddie is going to stay with that other pack then I can go and stay in the woods.

I walk around the building that I just came out of, once I find a nice spot that no one can find, I phrase. My jet black fur shoots out of my skin, my bones stretch and move to that of a wolfs. 

I growl, my mind is set and I run into the woods. I run as if my life depends on it, it doesn't but I want to get as far away from that town as I can. I want to get away from the last person to ever hurt me; my sister.
