Zayn's POV
That morning we went to the police station.
"And what was the girls name?" the officer asked.
"Allison Clay, age - um... 14." I said, trying not to say how old she really was.
"Aw, yes. Allison Clay, Taken to the Marine Lab Corp. for tests." He said, checking his clip board. She was taken where?
My stomach suddenly felt bad so I ran to the bathroom.
"Zayn! Wait!" I heard Liam scream after me. I found the nearest bathroom and looked in the mirror. This time I didn't see Zayn.
I saw the guy who had let his true love slip through his fingers.
I'm horrible...
I came back to the room, but the policeman was gone.
"Liam," I said, "I know how to get Allison out."

"Liam," I said, "I know how to get Allison out."
"How?" he asked, frustrated.
"She has relatives, mermaid relatives."
"How do you know we can trust them? And how do you know this?"
"She told me." He moves his foot around on the ground as he sniffles.
"She told me she had two best friends, and her friends have a sister. Their names are, Ashlinne, Bella, and Chassiti."
"Ok, I'm with you." He said, putting his interested face on.
"Ashlinne and Bella are her friends and Chassiti is their sister. Be careful, you can't tell them apart. They're triplets."
We called Ashlinne, Bella, and Chassiti and told them to come over.
Later, three girls walked in to the house, all wearing green shirts and ALL blonde.
"Is Allison alright?!" They asked at the same time. Freaky.
"No, I'm afraid not. Allison has been kidnapped by the Marine Lab Corp.
at California beach." Liam said.
They gave worried looks and started moving their hands in weird ways.
"What are you guys doing?"
They turn to look at me and froze. "Oh, we are doing our mermaid language. All mermaids use it. It's how we communicate."
"Well, talk in English please!" Liam says.
"Ok," Bella said, "The Marine Lab Corp. took her hostage. The bad news:
They might find our secret. The good news: she isn't dumb enough TO Give away our secret. We may need to break in to the building."
Me and Liam exchange nods and say, "Count us in!"
This will be risky...
