"This is it," I said as Beckett and I reached the front of the apartment door. I stuck the key into the knob and gently turned it until I heard the click.

I swung the door open, receiving a few startled looks from the boys as I entered smiling.

"Ally?" I heard Zayn say when he turned around the corner.

I nodded and he ran up to me, embracing me in a hug. He held me tight until he noticed the brunette Beckett waving at him from behind me.

"Hi, I'm Beckett," he said. I sighed as Zayn's grasp quickly tightened on me.

"Who is that?" he almost growled. I found a way out of his hold and stood beside Beckett.

"This is Beckett, my childhood best friend."

"I don't like him," Zayn said suddenly, about to shoo him away. Beckett gave me a weird look, almost shocked and confused mixed together.

"Zayn, don't be like that. He's only my best friend," I implied, placing a hand on his chest.

He calmed down a bit, though his arm still clutched my side as he leaned down to plant a kiss on my lips.

"So, what now?" Beckett asked, unsure of what to do. I motioned for him to follow us into the living area, to which he did.

"Ally!" I heard someone yell before I was pulled into a bone-crushing hug by Liam.

"Liam, I haven't been gone for that long," I said as we pulled apart.

His smile got wider and wider each time I said something.

"I'm just glad you're safe and s- who is that?" he said, nodding towards Beckett.

I huffed and called everyone into the living room to explain this.

"Listen up Cowboys," I shouted once everyone came in.

Ashlinne, Bella, Chassiti, and Brianna sat on the couch, while the boys took seats on the floor. Beckett stood beside me, confused at everything but still hanging on.

"Yes, I have been gone for a while, and yes, Niall I see you have eaten my taco since I was gone-" I pointed at the little Irish rat who had not-so-secretly eaten my Taco Bell taco. He gave me an I'm-sorry look.

"I have been down in the ocean," I said, "Visiting my old home."

"That doesn't explain why he's here," Zayn implied, looking quite frustrated.

"AH PUP PUP! Hush. I was getting there. Anyway, as I was saying, I visited my old home. I encountered Beckett here, who has been my childhood friend since we were at least in fishergarten. Kindergarten. Whatever you want to call it."

Chassiti commented, "So why did you call us in here?" She gestured to Ashlinne and Bella, the only ones who had known before.

"Yo, shut up! I'm not done!" I said, holding my hand up in her face.

"Okay..." Chassiti replied, sitting back with her arms folded like a toddler.

I sighed, wondering how I should word what I was going to tell everyone.

"I-Um, uh- He- no, I-" I started stuttering. Louis motioned for me to go on in a sort of annoyed way.

"I..."

"Ally, what is it?!" Harry hollered, getting angry all of the sudden. I jumped at how angering his voice sounded.

"I invited Beckett to stay with us for a while," I finally said, earning disapproving looks from the boys.
