Is Being Adopted... Fishy?

An Explanation

Okay. This is going to be an explanation chapter for all of you who were confused in the first chapter. So, bare with me here.

In the first chapter, Allison reveals a secret to both Zayn and Harry about her not being 14, but 18 years old.

This is why:

1. Before Allison became an orphan, her and her mother were both very poor and couldn't afford a lot of things. Her father, king of the sea (haha like King Tritan!) was obviously dead from the destruction of his kingdom and her home. She decided to live on land and being a creature of the sea, she didn't know anything about becoming an adult in the human world. All she knew was what she had learned from her visits to her mom before she drank the potion, turning her mother completely mer. She posed as a fourteen year old girl, so that she could finish out her life and learn a little more about becoming an adult.

That's when she met the boys. And you know how all that went.

2. It was my first chapter of my first book, so it wasn't that great.

So, yeah. That's an explanation for all of you wondering. Sorry I didn't put it in the chapter, I didn't really think about that.

Well, I hope that was helpful.

Now, down to some business.

I've been wanting to come up with a name thing for all of my loyal readers.

I was thinking you guys could possibly come up with one... maybe???

It would mean a lot to me if someone suggested a good one.
