Chapter 24:
Harry’s POV
I have been in this bathroom for two hours. Louis, Niall, and Liam have all been pounding on the door, begging, bribing, and pleading me to come back out. I don’t want to. As soon as I got into the bathroom, I locked the door and broke down crying. I cried about everything; Natalie, my dad that left my family and me. This bitter, cruel world. By now, salty tears were no longer racing down my cheeks. If only there was someone here to comfort me, someone to help me get my thought together, out of this disoriented state. I looked around for a shoulder to cry on; I automatically looked for Natalie. But then I realized she wasn’t there anymore, she never will be. I noticed some towels on the rack nearby; I grabbed them and wrapped them around me. Then I closed my eyes, tired from my weeping.
Natalie’s POV
I laid on my bed for a good 15 minutes more before I got off of my bed. I might as well go; there’s no good just laying here moaning about Harry, right? I changed out of my t-shirt and yoga shorts and wore a crop top and high-waist shorts. I left my hair in a French braid; I couldn’t care less about that. I went down to the lobby and waited for Zayn, who shortly arrived and led me to the back entrance.
“Thanks for letting me take you out,” said Zayn.
“Um… You’re welcome, I guess,” I replied in a dull voice.
We got into the car that was waiting for us in the back of the hotel. Of course there was a chauffeur. He didn’t look very happy; I feel you bro. Seeing him made me have a flashback of being a chauffeur for Tiff and the boys. A dull ache hurt me in the heart; just thinking about Harry hurt me.
“So where are we going?” I asked Zayn.
“You like animals?” he asked.
“I have nothing against them, unless they release some bodily fluids on me.”
“Yeah well I’m pretty sure that won’t happen at the Australia Zoo.”
Well, I guess we’re going to the zoo.
