Chapter 10:

Friday: Natalie’s POV

Ugh. I don’t remember school being this hard… Maybe because I’m actually trying to get straight As this semester. Tryouts were a breeze, and I got a spot on starting outside for varsity. Now I must cram practice and homework into my schedule. Read 250 pages, make notes for AP, and solve problems for math. I am ready for the weekend; finish my homework and go relax with my best friends Becca and Ryan. But first, I have to drop Tiffany off at the stupid One Direction concert. Stupid One Direction, stupid Harold Styles. Because hearing their song What Makes You Beautiful through the halls isn’t annoying enough. Why can’t Harry just take his curly head back to London and just stay there. All these thoughts were running through my head while I was on my way to the car. As I was getting there I saw a group or girls surrounding something; or someone. What were the crowding around? Oh, of course. One Direction. Wait. Why the hell is One Direction at my school parking lot. Oh shit Harry’s there too. I quickly scoot into my car and start the engine. I sat in my car and watched the girls scream at the boys. And then I noticed a paper sticking out under my windshield wiper, probably an advertisement for drugs or homework help or something. I get out and I look at the paper to see what it is. Two UVIP tickets to the One Direction concert tonight. Underneath the tickets was a little note saying, ‘see you tonight. –H xx’

First off, this note sounds like some goddamn booty call. Second off, it seems like One Direction will forever be in my life. I thought about just throwing the tickets away until I thought I’d just give them to Tiff; let her take one more friend with her. I’ll keep one though, just in case… I get back in my car and drive away.

Harry’s POV

So many girls. Everywhere. This fame is like a blessing and a curse. I watched Natalie get into her car, and find the tickets. She walked out of the car and… towards the trash can? What? No! That’s not supposed to happen! Doesn’t she know how girls would die for those tickets? What the hell is she doing! Ugh. Harry, the things you do for her… Why can’t you just move on; you’ve moved on from plenty of girls in your life. Oh wait, she’s not throwing the tickets away. Phew. I saw her get into her car and drive away. Then I turned back and walked towards our car, I saw all I needed to.

Natalie’s POV

It’s now time for the concert. I gave the one ticket to Tiffany after ripping off his stupid little note. Why the hell did he put xs. What the fuck. Tiffany was too happy to question where I got the ticket, thank God. I didn’t feel like thinking of something up. Tiffany pops her head into my bedroom door, blonde hair curled, wearing a long black loose shirt tucked into a tight sequined pencil skirt with heels. How she managed to walk, I don’t know.

“Let’s go Natalie! I’m done now, let’s go!”

I dragged myself off my bed and took a quick look in the mirror. Sweats, a t-shirt from some volleyball camp and hair in a messy bun. Yup, this is normal for a Friday night. It’s not like I’m going to the concert anyways; just dropping Tiffany off. I drive over to the place where the concert’s held while Tiffany starts calling her friends, asking where they were. I looked outside the window, only to see that there was almost nobody there. No screaming girls, weird posters, stuff like that. I hope I dropped her off at the right time; if I didn’t she’s definitely going to flip a bitch. I casually look over to her and say, “I hope you came here at the right time. If you didn’t, not my fault.”

She looked up from her phone and nodded. “Yeah I came here at the right time. We’re just here early so we can watch the sound check.”
