*Luke's POV*
The buzzing of my phone on the charger had woken me up. I opened my eyes to see the most beautiful girl in the world. (Cheesy I know.) Even worth the little bit of drool coming out of her mouth and the soft snores escaping her lips. I took a minute to memorize every little detail of this moment because I knew as soon as I told her how I felt she would leave and never come back. After a couple minutes of staring, I turned over and saw that it was nearly 11 in the morning and my mother had tried calling me 6 times already.
I quickly and quietly got out of the bed, making sure I didn't wake Dillion and walked down stairs calling my mom back. "Hello," she answered.
"Hey mom, I saw where you had called and was wondering about the tickets," I said.
"Oh yeah, about the tickets. I got them, but you better make sure that she loves these because it took a butt load of convincing," she said.
"I promise you mom. She will love them. Did you get the hotel room too?" I asked hoping we wouldn't have to drive back that night after it all.
"No hon, I'm sorry all the hotels close were already all booked up. Y'all will just have to drive back," she replied. "Is this how you are going to get her to be your girlfriend?"
I almost spit out the orange juice that I was drinking. "Excuse me?" I asked, wiping the orange juice that had escaped my mouth.
"Is this how you are getting her to be your girlfriend?" She asked again, a little slower this time pronouncing every word.
"Ummm. I really haven't thought that much ahead. The concert is in a month so I have plenty of time."
"It will be here quicker than you think," my mother warned.
"Whatever," I said rolling my eyes, "I will talk to you later. Love you mom."
I turned around to start working on a breakfast/lunch meal for Dillion and I. I started making grilled cheese, because it wad the only thing I could cook and not burn. I made three grilled cheese, two with just cheese and one with cheese and ham.
I went back to my room with the plate and sat back on the bed waiting for her to open get beautiful green eyes, that I always seemed to get lost in. I started eating my second sandwich and started playing on my phone. I checked all my social media accounts before going to my messages and texting Layne. 'Hey bud. What are you doing today?'
I layed my phone on my leg beside the almost empty plate and looked down at Dillion to see her eyes starting to flutter open. "Goodmorning," I said. She looked up at me and smiled before muttering a goodmorning back.
"Is that food?" she asked after seeing the plate in my lap.
I giggled before telling her yes and heading her the plate with the grilled ham and cheese sandwich on it. My phone buzzed indicating that I had a text. 'Nothing. Do you and Dillion want to go to the mall or something today?' Layne sent back.
I turned to Dillion seeing her take the last bite of the sandwich. "Hey Layne just texted and asked if we wanted to go to the mall with him or something. Do you want to go?" I asked. She blushed and nodded her head. "Okay. We are leaving at about noon so I would hurry," I said even though I would wait for her to be ready before we left.
*Dillion's POV*
I pulled myself out of the bed and walked over to my bag and pulled out one of the cute outfits I had packed, thank goodness.
After collecting my clothes I went to the bathroom down the hall and changed before throwing my hair in a ponytail and go back to Luke's room.
I threw my dirty clothes beside the bag, grabbed my phone and walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge and leaned against the counter checking my notifications. I had a call and voicemail, which I would listen to later, and 3 texts from Michael. I read the text but didn't reply. I would just call him later when I was away from Luke. I checked my Twitter and Instagram before locking my phone and going to put on my shoes. "Luke you said we were leaving at noon. It's 12:10, what's taking so long?" I shouted up the stairs.
"I'm coming. I'm coming," he said jumping off the last step. He had on my favorite Nirvana shirt with some black skinny jeans and a red flannel over the top. He slid on his old black Converse before grabbing his keys and my hand and walked out the door.
We got in the car and started in the direction of the mall. "Luke," I said.
"Yeah," he said, glancing at me.
"I don't have any money. It's all in my apartment," I said.
"So what, I'll pay today. It's your birthday soon anyways," he said with a grin on his face. I smiled at him and, before thinking, leaned over and kissed him on the cheek making him blush.
When we got to the mall we met up with Layne before going into almost every store known to man. I had found a couple of cute shorts at Forever 21 and some shirts at Hot Topic, and, of course, Luke paid for everything. I was getting kind of tired of walking around, but the boys wanted to go in this cool music shop at the end of the mall. "Guys," I huffed making them both turn to me, "I'm tired." They both laughed.
"Here hop on," Layne said, bending down enough for me to get on.
"Don't have to tell me twice, " I said before hoping on and laying my head on his shoulder. I saw the way Luke glared at Layne, but I ignored it. When we finally made it to the music store, I had a little more energy. We walked in and there were tons and tons of records and CDs. It was every music lovers dream. I walked away from the boys and walked toward the boy bandish type of music. I picked out a couple N•SYNC CDs and then walked back to them. Luke was holding the new All Time Low CD in his hand. "Ready to go," he asked looking at the CDs in my hand.
"Yeah," I said. "But when we start heading back to the car someone is giving me a piggy back ride. I'm a princess and I can't touch the ground," I said laughing. Both the boys joined in.
They both payed and we walked out of the store. When we got away from the door I stopped and stood there for a second before both boys noticed. "What are you doing?" Layne asked looking me up and down.
"I think I know," Luke said handing his bags to Layne to hold. He walked over to me and bent down. I smiled and jumped on yelling, "Thank you my kind prince," while laughing. We then walked back to the parking garage and got in the car and drove home.
