bound to him (Rose&Dimitri)

chapter 5

As I walked out into the empty corridor I smiled to myself.  I could smell all the guardians.  There was about twenty walking around.  I smelled again and knew one of them was Dimitri.  I tried to calm myself and looked towards the dinning area.  The moroi feeders were in there and most of them were knocked out.  I ran at lighting speed to the door opening it slowly.  I looked around to make sure no guardians were there and smiled.  I walked to a young man who was coming to slowly.  I took his body with no problems and bit into the soft fragile pale skin.  His blood felt used and I was trying to make sure nobody woke up.  As I drank more and more his heart finally stopped.  I left him there, knowing when the feeders came in tomorrow someone who just think they got used to much.  

I walked slowly back to my room taking in all the life in this place.  It was really weird, just being there again.  In this form, I shouldn't be here.  I knew that.  But I had to make myself known.  Plus I wanted Dimitri again, I wanted him to be mine and no one else's.  "Rose Hathaway," I stopped in my tracks as I heard the familiar voice.

"Mom," I turned to her crossing my arms.

"I'm so glad you're okay.  I was worried sick about you."  I tried to hold back a laugh since I didn't have my teeth again.  I turned to leave.

"Mom, you wouldn't have even known I was gone if it weren't for you working here at the time."  She shut up and walked away back to my room where I found Adrian.  God damn it!  I can't have one fucking minute alone.

"Rose!  Lissa told me you were back but I have no clue whether you wanted to see me anyway."  He hugged me and I almost let a few tears get to me.  He never called me Rose.  I could count on one hand how many times he had called me by my name.

I walked to my bed slipping my teeth in before he saw me and I turned to smile at him.  "I've missed you to, Adrian."  He lit up when I said this and I could barely help but not fall for him.  I never knew how much I would miss him till I didn't have him anymore.  "Adrian, I promise we can talk tomorrow but I am super tired and I have had a hard day already, I really just want to sleep."  He kissed my forehead sending little sparks through me.

"You know I've tried to enter you dreams.  But I can't anymore.  Did..."  I sighed not evening thinking about the dream walking.

"Maybe it was because I was never asleep.  I refused to let them have the upper hand.  Just leave.  I haven't slept in a week."  This was all true.  Strigoi didn't need to sleep that much, we perfectly fine staying awake.

"Fine, but Rose, I've really missed you.  Please don't do that to me again."  He walked out and I locked the door.  I can't believe this was actually happening.  I was back at the academy and nobody knew a thing.  Now I just needed this to work for a week.
