"Rose?" I looked around and found my Dimitri. His eyes were red. I changed him. "Rose, look in the mirror." I did as he asked and gasped. I was a guardian again. He removed the hair from my neck and kissed gently. "Rose, let me change you." I closed my eyes and turned to him.
"No. I don't want you to take away my life. If I could have the choice I would stay like this. I want to be close to Lissa. I want to fall in love, I want to feel safe. Dimitri I'm sorry this happened to you." I said barely believing the words myself.
"I'm not. I love this life. Just like you will love it." I closed my eyes unable to look at him. This wasn't happening.
"Rose? Rose what are you doing?" I opened my eyes to see me strangling Lissa. Her blood over my mouth. Dimitri watching me. "Rose what happened?" I couldn't breathe. My best friend was dead by my hands.
"Dimitri?" I walked over to him and pushed him against a wall. "Dimitri this is it. You'll love the new view on life. It'll bring you joy. It'll make you happy. And then we can be together." I went to bite his neck but was stopped by a sharp stab to my heart. I looked at Dimitri, he was as shocked as me. I turned and saw Adrian. His hands had my blood over them and I felt the stake in my back. He had hit the right area. I fell to the ground gasping for breath.
"Rose you knew this was going to happen. I'm so sorry it happened like this." I felt me slip away for good.

I woke up to the sound of banging on my door. "Roza!" I opened the door.
"What!?" He threw his arms around me. Dimitri's scent was so, strong. "I love you."
