Chapter 22 - Christmas Surprise

Louis has been gone for nearly half an hour now and there is no sign of either of them. Louis had this determined and maybe a little pissed off look on his face when he left. He's always been a little touchy when it comes to Karina mostly because of his feelings for her. I guess he'd had enough of the mixed signals. I'm scrolling down my Twitter feed and see that a fan retweeted Louis' post.

That bastard finally did it. I should've known he would. "Hey guys you have to see what Louis tweeted." Everyone immediately takes out their phones just as Lou and Kari walk in hand in hand. 

"It's about damn time!" Harry says with a smile. "I thought you'd be pining for her forever." Karina starts laughing at that and they both sit down. 

Louis looks at Karina and the happiness just radiates off him. "Yes I know, took me long enough." Kari just smiles back brightly while blushing. 

"He's got it bad for you. I mean like really bad." Liam says chuckling, his arm around Lee's shoulders. Lee playfully scolds him for teasing. 

"Liam's right. I mean every time you wouldn't show up for something he looked like a kicked puppy. I swear I thought he was going to cry one time!" Zayn says teasingly unable to stop from laughing. 

Louis goes red instantly. "That is a lie! I admit to everything but that." He says a little embarrassed. 

"Not to mention how crazed he looked when you went missing." I add which only gets me a half hearted punch to my shoulder from Nik. 

"Now come on boys. Lay off its Lou's birthday so stop the teasing." Sophia says lifting her head from Charlie's shoulder. Hmm... Something is definitely going on there. At this point the food arrives and we start eating and decide to leave Louis alone. For now. 

Nikola

Christmas time is usually my favorite time of the year and this year is no exception. The house is fully decorated in green, red and gold. The stairs have a wreathe going down the railing with our traditional stockings hanging on the fire place. There used to be only three stockings but since we have three new members to our family we have six now with each of our names. Mom fills them with little surprises and we fill hers. The best part of the decorations is the huge tree in the living room. It's decorated from the bottom to the gold star on top. Under the tree rest the presents all beautifully wrapped. It's really crazy how things have changed since last year. I have four best friends and then of course I have Niall. And in a few weeks we'll be going on tour with the guys. I'm currently sitting on my bed tucked safely under the covers. It's freezing in our room mostly because the window is open. Snow falls angelically on the window and covers everything in crisp white. Reina and I are on our computers checking mails, Twitter and Facebook. I have tons of well wishes from fans on Twitter and some not so well but of course I'm already used to those and ignore them. It's around eight in the morning and we'd normally already be downstairs unwrapping present but this year is different. Since the guys are actually in London this year we're having Christmas lunch together. It's like the whole family is finally together. Of course the guys' families will be visiting throughout the day. Reina and Karina's mum wanted to come but the weather in Puerto Rico isn't allowing planes to fly in or out of the island. Reina and Kari were so excited; they have been feeling a little homesick lately. Karina was devastated seeing as she hasn't seen her mom in two years but I guess being with Reina helps.
