Alyssa's P.O.V.

The sun was setting behind the golden gate bridge here in San Francisco, California. The sky was splashed with all sorts of color. It was breath taking really. It was like an artist came by and decided to paint a beautiful portrait  for everyone to see. I was sitting on a hill taking in the view of the San Francisco Bay sunset. I could feel the ocean breeze and smell the fresh salty air. I felt at peace with myself. I felt like my life wasn't a total mess and I wasn't  a demigod and didn't have to deal with any greek gods. I sighed. I wish I could go back in time and through a fit to not leave my mom, so I wouldn't have to go with Poseidon. Maybe then I wouldn't hate life as much. (For those who are reading this you may think being a demigod is awesome and you get powers and all that. Yes that maybe cool and all but theres always a catch, being a demigod is hard and your trying not to die 24/7. Now lets get back to the story). I stood up from where I sat and decided to iris message Annabeth before the sun goes away completely. I stretched out my hands towards the very green grass I was sitting on  and flicked my wrist like I was playing piano and water appeared and the grass turned brown like it hadn't been watered in ages. I took away my left hand that was helping the water to float in mid air and my hand caught on fire. Now I really need to concentrate  on what I was doing. I threw the fire ball to the water and it turn into mist. I quickly reached into my pocket and grabbed a golden drachma and threw it into the mist and chanted "Oh Iris goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering." *Not my quote, all rights to Rick Riordan* The mist shimmered into a Rainbow and showed Annabeth. She was wearing her orange Camp Half-blood shirt with some jean shorts on  on and her curly blonde hair in a pony tail. Her face looked like she couldn't fall asleep at night and that got me worrying.

"Hey Annabeth!" She looked up with wide eyes then smiled when she saw it was me. She stopped at whatever she was doing and came a bit closer so I could see her better.

"Hi Alyssa. So do you have any good news. I could use some right now," she said and her face fell and she frowned. Great, just great what am I suppose to do now. If I told her I saw Percy and I know where he's at, then that would mess up Hera's plan and the fates will hate me and make my life even worse. But I can't just lie to her can I? I thought to myself.

"Oh shut up! You've been lying to everyone for years, this wouldn't be any different," said a little voice. I jumped at he sound and turned to see where the voice came from to find one of those mini you with angle like wings and wearing all red. I was surprised. I thought those things weren't real and they only appeared in the movies.

"No don't. You've already lied so much. Just tell the truth and suffer the consequences." I turned to my right to see exactly the same thing but this one was all covered in white. I couldn't speak I was in awe at what I was seeing. I looked back at Annabeth and back at the two.

" Your choice," the red mini me said.

"Make it a good one," the white one said and then they both disappeared like they were never really there in the first place.

"Hello Alyssa, you there," Annabeth asked while waving her hand to try and get my attention.

"Yea I'm...I'm fine. What did you say?" She sighed and shook her head. I don't think she was convinced.

"I asked if you got any news on Percy?"

"No...No I'm sorry I don't," I said without hesitation. I guess I made my decision already without even knowing. Annabeth nodded and tried not to show her disappointment.

"Thats alright. At least we have an idea where he's at." I nodded.

" Yea. What did Jason call the place? Uh Camp Jupiter right?" Annabeth bobbed her head up and down, as to say yes.
